REMEMBER AMERICA - inspiring patriotic songs

Postby Nan48 » June 26th, 2009, 2:59 pm

Check out Neil Brian Goldberg's patriotic music website "Remember America" at http://www.RememberAmerica.net

Here you will find new music videos of his songs "Remember America" and "Born in America," which is dedicated to Neda and the brave freedom fighters in Iran. Listen to more of Neil's songs, read his bio, and watch YouTube videos of the songs he wrote for the Archies Funhouse Giant Jukebox in 1970.

Neil, a seasoned musician, singer, and composer of over 100 recorded songs played on radio and TV, is encouraging people to use his songs for Tea Parties. His songs have been sung by such notable artists as The Monkees, Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, Bobby Sherman, Bobby Bloom, Robin McNamara, and many others.

Also found at the site is a link to Diamond Rio's song "In God We Still Trust."

Let me ask you this. What form should the fighting take? Are you a proponent of violent revolution? If so, then you are a danger to the republic and a disgrace to the flag.
Penguins on the other hand are animals and as such are not accountable for their sins.

Kerwin, who else?..

Our founders didn't think so.

By this can I assume that you favor armed conflict if you don't get your way?

Gotta love Kate Smith. I always get goose bumps when I hear that song.

Neil is a freedom loving, God-fearing American, who goes way back in the music industry, as you can see from his bio. He's written, recorded, and produced over 150 songs, including 32 songs for the Archies Funhouse Giant Jukebox in 1970. I proudly call him a friend of mine, whom I greatly admire for his faith, patriotism, and talent.

We've also added a couple of new videos to Neil's website: "Almost Born" and "Remember America: Land of God."

You can see his music videos on YouTube, too:

On the general subject, I absolutely hate "God bless the USA" by whasisface, the country crooner. It's shrill and maudlin.

What I like much better is "This Land is Your Land" by Woody Guthrie, "Born Again American," and James Weldon Johnson's "Lift Ev'ry Voice and sing," though it's hard to find a white choir or church that doesn't butcher it.

Now, despite the chauvinism of it, I live "In America," by Charlie Daniels. It was written in response to the taking of our embassy staff as hostages in Tehran in 1979 and resonates.
You may not use me as your factory.
Priests and legislators do not hold
shares in my womb or my mind.
This is my body. If I give it to you
I want it back. My life
is a non-negotiable demand.
