Just because they claim that they received "a call from God"; doesn't mean a thing. Where is the proof?

Jesus formed His Church as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew Ch. 16, vs 16 - 20:
[16] Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. [17] And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. [18] And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [19] And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. [20] Then he commanded his disciples, that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ.

As for the Jews, the reason for their problems is their refusal to accept the Messiah that God sent them as per His promise to do so. God has always punished them whenever they rejected Him and will continue to do so.

It's all irrelevant; their all just distractions. What matters is Matt. Ch. 16 vs 13 - 18 and Matt. Ch. 28 vs 16 - 20 and John Ch. 14 vs 11 - 16. In the first He creates His Church and in all three He promises divine protection of His Church. So, His Church has never not fully and openly existed continuously over the last 1,980 +/- years. "That" is all that matters and those who do not accept that are not Christian; as they reject Jesus' promises, three times, to protect His Church. We've had 500 years of the work of Satan; otherwise, how is it possible that what started with just Luther has evolved into 50,000 +/- denominations and sects and I'm not aware of "any" Protestant leader who refutes those numbers.
As for "Sola Scriptura", check John Ch. 21 vs 25. It could not be more clear.

Playing it by ear...

"Anybody not willing to accept the results of an election is a threat to democracy." -Hillary Clinton

It's better to believe in God and be wrong about His existence than it is to not believe and be wrong.
