Trump to visit SLC on Monday for national monuments announcement

(KUTV) The Salt Lake Tribune reports President Trump will visit Utah on Monday, Dec. 4 to announce the reduction of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments.

Trump will be flying into Salt Lake City to make the announcement. He is reportedly not expected to spend the night in Utah.

In an phone call with Trump in October, Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch said he is not against the monument, but opposed to its "gargantuan" size.
