ABC’s wildly popular “Roseanne” reboot has been renewed for another season, the network announced Friday.
“We’re thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes,” ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said in a statement. “The show is as fresh and relevant today as it was when it left the air 21 years ago. We can’t wait to see what the ‘Roseanne’ team has in store for next year.”
The announcement for an 11th season comes three days after the reboot debuted to over 18 million viewers.
Roseanne Barr, the show’s star, shared her excitement on Twitter Friday afternoon.

Tuesday night’s premiere drew 18.2 million viewers — 10 percent more viewers than saw the May 1997 finale of the original show.
Ms. Barr, a supporter of President Trump on the show and in real life, told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she received a phone call from the president congratulating her for the reboot’s massive ratings.
“I’ve known him for many years and he’s done a lot of nice things for me over the years,” Ms. Barr said.
Mr. Trump raved about the show’s ratings at a speech Thursday in Ohio, telling the crowd, “They were unbelievable. Over 18 million people. And it was about us!”
On Friday, Ms. Barr tweeted “yeah!” at the idea of Mr. Trump making a guest appearance on the show.
