Stand up for truth
By A.J. Castellitto

"And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

If any man have an ear, let him hear."

If you listen to the strange words coming from the Kenneth Copelands, the Joel Osteens, the Rick Warrens, Pope Francis, Jim Wallis, and the like, it's as if prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes.

Ecumenism, Social Justice Premillennialism/Chiliasm, Chrislam, Religious Humanism..... The threats to truth have been ramped up. The challenges to the exclusivity inherent in Jesus' bold claims are coming fast and furious.

It all smells like end times to me.

Pope Francis, the church, and seemingly much of modern Christendom, has bought into the blurring of the lines that separate a saving knowledge of Jesus from other faiths. The true gospel message has seemingly long been replaced by politics, socialism, and compromise. A premillennial, one-world religious mentality ensures a guilt free moving toward religious utopia for scripturally ignorant and opportunistic Catholics and Protestants alike. Black and white truth is going grey.....

The modern evangelical message:

You can have your sin, your humanitarianism, and ultimately your world peace; just check your savior at the door......

Don't believe it!!!

The pope's sacrificing of social issues in favor of calls for greater economic equality and interfaith dialogue is indicative of where we're seemingly headed.

When did Social Justice become the new Gospel? Feeding the poor is a good work that flows from a good heart or it can be used as a convenient excuse for the powers-that-be to heap further atrocity upon the masses.

How much tyranny and oppression can be applied under the guise of 'security' or 'helping the poor'? The powers behind such far-reaching movements are bullies disguised as humanitarians. There is truly a major power grab agenda at play here.

I'm all for helping the less fortunate. But we must condemn using global, military and economic force to rob people of their freedom and choice of how and when to do so. Even worse, the twisting of Biblical teachings to achieve a deceptive global, political and tyrannical agenda.

I ask the reader, is this unfounded speculation, paranoia, and fear-mongering I'm offering? Or do these swiftly developing events hold greater global significance? What are the spiritual and eternal consequences of the major occurrences in our day?

Could it be that prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes?

The faithful disciple must always build on the one, true foundation (with that foundation always in view).

Let the evil days of the past do nothing but propel you forward into the good fight where you can truly be a help to those who struggle. May we live out a faith in which we are not ashamed. Let's fully resist the watering down, politicizing, and secularizing of Biblical truth, and avoid any and all forms of heresy or godless compromise.

Jesus didn't come to be your friend, he came to save you from yourself. That's the vital part many either don't get or don't want to.

He will eventually become your friend and your brother, but first he must become your savior! Ultimately, you will be conformed to the likeness and image of him to whom you owe everything.

"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand."
