"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!" – Matthew 23:37

Idolatry is a great sin and offense against the God of Heaven and Earth in that He is ultimately rejected and replaced with lesser things. Throughout the history of mankind, created things have been perpetually lifted up and become a type of replacement god.

Deep in the hearts of all sexual revolutionaries and social engineers lie the great sin of idolatry. There are even some in our day who think nothing of altering, discarding, and manipulating God's creation in perverse and vile ways.

We are mere human clay without license or justification to deceitfully tamper with God's design. How can human beings made in the image of God have any part with the termination and reconstructive disfiguration of life? Such atrocities come at a great cost to those who permit and engage in these ungodly practices.

The depraved hearts of rebellious men are idol factories full of sin and inequity. Ultimately, those who reject God are their own worst enemy. The oneist,* by his/her natural and spiritual disposition, can never be reconciled to God, for the need of The Savior will be denied.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen." – Romans 1:16-25

*One-ism: All Is One. We worship and serve creation as divine. All distinctions must be eliminated and, through "enlightenment," we discover that we also are divine. -Dr. Peter Jones, Truthxchange
