It's time for a revolution, Part Three
By Madeline Crabb
According to the Declaration of Independence, our form of government exists at the "consent of the governed." Because of the ungodly, unconstitutional direction our country has taken, it is time for we the people to revolt. More people are waking up to the tyranny we now live under, which is causing increasing anger towards the ruling elite. We appear to be reaching a tipping point, so a citizen revolt is highly likely. One of the most exasperating issues that may spark a revolution is the insanity regarding illegal immigration.
Last week an appeals court in Kansas ruled illegal aliens aren't really illegal, reported World Net Daily. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57266.
An illegal immigrant had pleaded guilty to drug possession and endangering a child, and was denied probation and sentenced to jail time. Sounds reasonable. (In a sane world.) However, the appeals judges ruled that "while the laws of the United States make it illegal to enter the United States without authorization, being in the United States after entering illegally is 'not necessarily a crime.'" What????
World Net Daily says the court ruling explained that "those entering the United States illegally are subject to deportation," which can be based on a variety of factors. But an illegal's "ongoing presence in the United States in and of itself is not a crime unless that person had been previously deported and regained illegal entry into this country." Doesn't that kind of logic mean that a burglar breaking into our home is only guilty for entering, not for robbing us blind while he's there?
The presiding judge in the original case said that he had problems with prescribed sentencing guidelines for probation because the defendant was in violation of probation rules right from the start, which forbids the defendant from violating any law while on probation. Since the defendant had already violated federal law by being an illegal immigrant, he could not comply with probation rules. It seems like the original judge was reasonable in his ruling.
Federal law says that illegal immigrants are to be fined, given jail time, and deported. And that's for the first incident. The second and subsequent offenses are felonies, and require longer jail sentences. So it seems this appeals court is either making new law, or twisting existing law to protect illegal aliens who are criminals. Duh! So what else is new? Illegal aliens break our laws the second they step foot on American soil without having been issued a proper "invitation." Just what part of illegal don't judges understand?
Nobody knows for sure how many crimes are committed on a daily basis by illegals since it is not politically correct to ask about immigration status. Many times when criminals are released on probation, they are never seen again. Therefore they are free to cause whatever mayhem they wish against we the people, their forced hosts.
We do know that 100% of "undocumented" immigrants are illegal, and by law are criminals — and should be treated as such. But if cases like the Kansas case set precedent, we may as well grant amnesty to (legalize, normalize) the 12-20 million illegal aliens/criminals who have broken into our country, and then forget about law and order. Although illegals are unwelcome guests, except by Congress, President Bush, and big industry, we apparently have no recourse but to allow our Constitution and Rule of Law to be trampled over, mocked, and subverted. Why? Because the Courts say so. End of story...or is it?
Remember, this is still a representative republic. We need to insist our president and representatives represent us, instead of alien freeloaders and criminals. We need our current laws to be enforced for ALL people. Hello! Just what is it going to take for we the people to revolt? What will it take for you? To anyone willing to hear....
