The Democrats reveal their true colors, again
By Paul Craft

Case in point is Senator Joe Lieberman. Senator Lieberman was on the ticket for the Democrats in the presidential campaign of 2000. He could to do no wrong. That is of course, if he followed the path of the radical left.

Senator Lieberman made a monumental mistake in the eyes of the left; he actually sided with President Bush on the war in Iraq. Now the Democratic Party has turned their back on Senator Lieberman in his reelection campaign in Connecticut. They are supporting another Democratic candidate because he is against the war in Iraq.

Fortunately, for the Republicans, the Democrats are held hostage by the party of George Soros and Senator Hillary Clinton. Senator Clinton has revealed her double standard in the case of Senator Lieberman.

Senator Clinton as you might know has supported the war in Iraq. Well I guess since her radical friends on the Left are against Lieberman, Hillary has to follow orders. She has recently been quoted as saying, "she will not back the Connecticut Democrat's bid for re-election if he loses their party's primary."

I guess this is the easy way out for Senator Clinton. If she is a friend of Senator Lieberman as Clinton has stated, then he sure does not need anymore enemies.

What happened to the days when the Democratic Party respected the views of all their party members? Senator Lieberman has been a light of reason in the halls of congress. He has been a loyal party member that has voted with the Democratic Party on a consistent basis.

The Republicans have to be in amazement and probably chuckling at the state of the Democratic Party.
