America, its time to take a stand

It was reported today that during its 2005-2006 fiscal year, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America performed a record 264,943 abortions, attained a record profit of $55.8 million and received record taxpayer funding of $305.3 million.
Planned Parenthood has been contacted on this report but will not return any calls. They instead issued a statement that the report "illustrates the achievements of an organization founded to prevent unintended pregnancy and protect women's health and safety."
As usual they failed to mention the right of the unborn. They killed a record 264,943 babies and the money of Americans was used. Why should a person who respects the life of the unborn, have their own dollars used in such a way?
To make matters worse Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, noted that while the PPFA reported carrying out a record number of abortions in 2005-2006, it "did not record a single adoption referral."
Jim Sedlak, executive director of Stop Planned Parenthood (STOPP) International, told Cybercast News Service on Thursday that the flow of taxpayer dollars to the abortion provider "has to be stopped. Since our elected officials won't do their job, it's up to us."
We need to put pressure on Congress by email and phone. We need to be committed to email and/or phone are Senators at least once a week. Then they might take notice. You can reach your Senators here.
