America's nightmare scenario
By Paul Craft

Is it possible that America will become a country with three capitals and maybe more? You might have Washington DC, Atlanta and San Francisco. What could possibly cause such a split?

There is a great divide facing the United States. You have the blue states v. red states, Liberal v. Conservative, Christian society v. a secular society. America cannot continue to have such divisions like she has now. There will eventually be a breaking point that will cause an outright call for separate societies in once was a united America.

There are already examples of severe divisions within the United States. When George W Bush was elected President there were some that decided to move to Canada. Why would someone be willing to turn their back on their own country? I cannot imagine this every happening say 20-40 years ago. Now there is a movement to end the electoral process. This process was put in place to give equal representation for each state. Now there are those who think the largely populated states such as those on the East and West coast should have more voting power than the less populated states in America. You can be sure if the Democrats get the numbers they need in the House and Senate they will do their best to change the voting process that would favor them.

There is a recent example of how this split could begin — down in Florida a rich business man created a society that reflected the Catholic value system. What if are society becomes more and more secular? The dirty word called tolerance is already used against Christians in America. I can see a day not to far off when Christians will be pressured to conform to the secular agenda of America. What options will Christians have at that point? We might have communities throughout America like the one already mentioned in Florida.

Let's hope this scenario will never come to pass.
