America on the brink

Ronald Reagan made the following comment, "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, and then we will be a Nation gone under."

The drum beat is ever louder today, Americans have lost their pride in what America has stood for and what Americans have lost their life for. The strength of America has been its belief that we are "One Nation Under God." The devil has been successful in building an army of politically correct police.

This army has been successful in taking religion out of schools and the workplace. When it is alright to teach sex education and gay friendly stories to elementary kids but is forbidden to have prayer in school, then it is safe to say the minority has taken power over the majority.

It appears to this writer that things are not going to get any better in America. My fear is that believers in Jesus Christ will become a minority in the near future. America is on the brink of becoming a nation that political correctness will rule are religion. It will be a religion where there is no right and wrong and where Jesus Christ is not preached or mentioned at all. We know the only way to God is through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The devils police force has been successful in blurring the difference between right and wrong. We see on a daily basis many excuses for why someone did something wrong. Instead of being held accountable we are supposed to be more understanding and less judgmental. Everyday there is new evidence to prove why someone acts the way they do. I saw a recent study that scientists have found genes that might cause a person to commit adultery. What about God's commandments and our responsibility to make right choices in life?

My biggest concern is for the kids that live in America today. Believers can do all they can to shelter their kids but the culture they live in has been taken over by the army of politically correct police. The television programs are filled with garbage. When you see on a daily basis people having sex outside marriage it will influence the values of young kids. The home for the devils politically correct police is Hollywood. There is no values system at all in Hollywood. Any thing goes now in Hollywood. Unless something is done, imagine what garbage American children will see on television over the next twenty years.

Now we see on the television that greed is the reason why Wall Street is in chaos. The leaders of some Wall Streets biggest firms took on major risk in favor of large returns. If these leaders would have lead like their fathers before them, they would have realized that hard work does not come cheaply. The sad thing about this crisis is that are leaders were not the only thing to fail us but we on main street are responsible for this mess as well. We know that the word of God is clear on the subject of debt. We have become a country of plastic and living beyond are means. With America and for that matter the global economies on the brink of disaster we need to take ownership of are finances right now. We need to pay down as much debt as we can NOW and to buy only what we need as opposed to what we want!
