Religion of peace update: Airliners disabled, Statue of Liberty surveilled

Islam teaches its devotees to "slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (Quran 9:5).

For those who may be wondering, we Christianized Americans are the "idolaters." Muhammed taught his followers that we may be killed without cause simply because we worship a God who has a Son.

This is why Islam is a religion of the unprovoked attack. The Twin Towers were filled with innocent Americans who died on 9/11 for no reason other than that they belonged to the Great Satan.

This is why one Muslim who became a naturalized American citizen could sabotage a plane with 150 innocent passengers and why another could surveill American landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and feed the information to one of the worst terrorist organizations on the planet. This is why they can "wish... Allah would use 'divine powers' to harm on [sic] non-Muslims."

The airline mechanic in question, one Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani, disabled the navigation system on an American Airlines plane, knowing that it could cause the plane to crash. (An onboard warning alerted pilots to the problem before departure.) Investigators found links to ISIS on his phone, including ISIS videos with Muslims shooting infidels in the head at point-blank range.

Alani was born in Iraq and has been an American Airlines mechanic for 30 years. He had no prior criminal record, meaning the jihadi virus had lurked undetected in his system for decades after he had sworn allegiance to the nation that had taken him in. He was, like the Ft. Hood shooter, a Muslim first and an American second.

Ali Hassan Saab is also an Iraqi-born but naturalized U.S. citizen who joined the Hezbollah organization in 1996. He was trained in the use of AK-47s, M16 rifles, pistols, grenades, and other explosives. He once attempted to kill an Israeli spy. He legally entered the United States in 2000 using a Lebanese passport and was naturalized in 2008. Because he is a Muslim, he has no qualms, due to the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya, about lying through his teeth if it will advance the cause of the Prophet. And so in 2005 he affirmed without batting an eye that he had never been "a member of or in any way associated with . . . a terrorist organization."

Saab has spent the last 20 years as a Hezbollah operative scouting landmarks in New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C. and sending the intel to Iran-sponsored Hezbollah for future attacks. Targets included the Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Fenway Park, and airports, tunnels, and bridges.

Bottom line: here were two Muslims who masqueraded as ordinary Americans for years and even decades. They were Muslims who weren't a threat to the United States – until they were. Of course, no one is saying that all Muslims are terrorists. But some of them are, and the problem is that we have no way of distinguishing the ones we have to worry about from the ones we don't. Until we figure out how to do that, we have to be careful with them all.

The Quran teaches Muslims: "Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the hearts of a believing people" (Quran 9:14-15). Permitting even one immigrant to enter this land harboring this mindless hatred and vitriol is one too many.

Last year, with Supreme Court approval, President Trump prohibited immigration from seven Islamic countries (Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Yemen and Iraq) for national security reasons. Maybe it's time to think about adding to the list.
