Playing blame game for many . . . justification for bad behavior
By Kaye Grogan
Playing the "blame" game shows immaturity, and a lot of other areas lacking in self-discipline. If you do something wrong — like a child look around and see who you can use as your pasty. After all, it's never "politically correct" to accept the blame for bad deeds. Blame everything bad on right-wing conspiracies, the Bible, God, and anything else you might be able to get by with.
Tell your children they are doing great in school, even if you know many are being challenged academically. Blame their bad school behavior and bad grades on the teachers. You are expected to build self-esteem in your children, and shelter them from the real world — so they won't be able to cope in the real world when you shove them out of the nest. It sure does take a village to build a society "inundated " with losers and ingrates. But how dare you call anyone a loser! — unless the loser is a right-wing fanatic. Don't dare call a sex offender a "scumbag" because their warped childhood is the reason many target children to rape, torture, murder, and bury them alive. And for goodness sakes! ...don't dare take-away Viagra pills from sex offenders in jail. After all, Medicaid (using your tax dollars) owes them rewards for being naughty.
Don't dare hold the government accountable for the lousy job they are doing in Washington, D.C. It is "politically incorrect" to point out filibustering is just a "tactic" used to hijack qualified people, and block them from serving in judicial branches, U.N. positions, etc. — unless they are liberal "yes" men and women. You're supposed to taint and rip reputable people apart, while building up and anointing corrupt people who help with the decline of the morals in the nation. After all, if there are decent men and women overseeing societal moral issues, bad vices like legalization of drugs; continued distribution of immoral pornography; corruption in big businesses; trying to "warp" the minds of young children in learning institutions; and the incessant painting of our enemies by the liberal media as martyrs — this type of corrupt activity, will definitely be in danger of ceasing.
The real enemies in America are not terrorists — can't you see it's the Christians who point out how vile evil is? Can you blame many of the judges, attorneys, and the ACLU for wanting the "Ten Commandments" hidden from view? Who wants to be reminded daily about how sinful it is to lie, cheat, steal, and kill? Out of sight out of mind, is what is needed here, not finger-pointing.
Poor Dr. Spock — he wanted to abolish spanking, and line up "timeout" chairs so parents could raise many children who wouldn't know good manners and respect if it knocked them in the backside!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sexual misconduct in the White House, and anyone who says it is — well, throw them to the wolves or blame the right-wing fanatics. Shame on those right-wing fanatics for conspiring to set former President Bill Clinton up so he would be "impeached."
And can you believe the nerve of anyone even suggesting that money-laundering is anything but good? Throw them to the wolves too!
Okay, now let's see who we can blame the steroid consumption on, used by many athletes to gain advantages while competing and trying to break all past records in sports. How about the companies who manufacture steroids?
People who play these blame games are like a person trying to pitch a tent without poles to hold it up. Sooner or later, everything is going to come crashing down on top of them.
And what's wrong with replacing nice words with gutter laced vocabularies? There is no other way to compete with facts, other than trying to conceal them with childish rants and foul-language, while trying to divert one's attention from the real issue, hoping personal attacks will miraculously send conservative writers "wailing" and looking for rocks to hide under. Psst . . . shouldn't someone tell the attackers about reverse psychology?
Yes, for a while playing the blame game seems like fun, but that ole' "fork in the road" crossroads has a way of popping up in faces — sometimes during the most exciting stages of life, and at other times on death beds, bringing with them visions of stark reality, and rained on parades.
But, in the meantime . . . it's a lot simpler and at the same time challenging to calculate and find ways to blame others for inadequacies. And aren't you glad games like hopscotch and jump rope have pretty much run their course?
Geez . . .it was extremely difficult trying to blame playmates for not being able to jump just right on either of those two outdated games . . . right?
And that's just my opinion!
