The government is like a hung jury . . . they can't agree on anything
By Kaye Grogan
As long as the crybabies in Washington keep dropping their pacifiers — they are incapable of getting anything accomplished past their whining. I have pondered the verbal melee, and never-ending daily attack between both political parties, and I have arrived at one conclusion: it's time to form a third viable party and let the whiners have at it . . . at their own expense. The country has suffered long enough without further ado.
We need a "People's Party" to take back our rights that have been stomped in the ground by politically driven, self-serving politicians who "lord" themselves over the people, instead of leading them to a better, safer environment.
With President Bush, and most of the Republican Party hellbent on appeasing the foreigners — especially the illegal ones, to try and hold onto their votes . . . well, they are losing the support of many of their once loyal constituency in the process.
To make my point clearer: you guys and gals have snuggled like hibernated bears into your smug little domains and are of the opinion no matter what you do — or don't do, you're going to be in Washington until the cows come home.
The standoff in congress quite frankly, reminds me of little Jimmy and Susie choosing up sides against one another in the neighborhood, because they can't reach an agreement on which one is going to run the bully pulpit in the neighborhood.
You people can't even agree on the weather. I bet when the sun is shining — of course, to many it's cloudy and vice-versa. Have any of you ever considered looking at yourselves through the eyes of the citizens out here — I'm talking about really looking at yourselves?
Right now your approval job rating is hovering around 38 percent. Just wait until those other folks wake up, your approval rating will be even lower! Don't you think by now your own shoulder patting is starting to look a bit ridiculous?
We are told to the point of nauseam that our borders can't be controlled. What kind of message does this send to the world and our enemies? The last time I read the Constitution — it "specifically" points out that our military is to protect Americans against the invasion of other countries, and yet you the government have the audacity to inform us it is not in our best interest economically or going to do any good to put the military on our border.
In Fact, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is convinced putting the military on the borders would only create a corrupt military. But what can you expect from Republicans like Gingrich and McCain extending out an "olive branch" to liberal Democrat Senator Hillary Clinton? Next, you're going to tell us that the chicken and fox can be friends too!
I have arrived to the conclusion that our government has let illegal immigration get so far out-of-hand, they actually don't know what to do to solve the problem for fear of retaliation from foreign countries — especially Mexico. So — naturally, the next step calls for a continuance of untruths hoping Americans can be "pacified" by telling them they need a foreign population explosion or they are going to spiral down to an economic disaster. Yeah . . . they need an influx of foreigners to save the economy about as much as Sri Lanka needs another tsunami wave!
I would be amiss if I didn't mention how a movement is on to introduce new Republicans into the Republican Party, so the stage can be set for new party enthusiasts like Senator Mel Martinez and Republican Governor Arnold Swartzeneggar to eventually change the Constitution where it stipulates foreign-born people cannot be President of the United States. We would much rather you find a viable solution to keep more like you, from coming to America.
God help us if you are anything like the old Republicans! Before you laugh Democrats . . . God help us twice as much, if you start a new party of Democrats!
Both current political parties think we are locked into their ideology — like it or not. And both are trying to convince the citizens they are the"lesser of two evils."
Yeah . . . that's what I thought too . . . it's obviously a draw!
And that's just my opinion!
