Author Edward Klein . . . is no match for Reverend Billy Graham
By Kaye Grogan

Ah . . . whatever happened to "freedom of the press?" Every time Fox News boasts that they are "fair and balanced" if you believe this hogwash, you need to pay closer attention. Poor Edward Klein is being censored from the top news networks (including fair and balanced Fox News), for his tell-all book about Senator Hillary Clinton.

I guess Mr. Klein is finding out first hand, it's not nice to fool with "Mother Nature." I can think of several other books, and their authors, that should have been banned from the liberal media . . . oops! ...I meant the mainstream media. Mr. Klein is being "tarred and feathered" and "bushwhacked" by his liberal peers.

Goodness . . . boys and girls don't you feel the slightest bit guilty for turning on one of your own?

The more the book's author is banned — the more inquisitive the public will be about what's inside the book. Results? The more money Mr. Klein is going to put into his banking account.

Yeah, I'm sure Ms. Clinton views the book like trying to swallow that ole' tonic Castor Oil once a year — whether you needed it or not — in her era.

So far, not one liberal has spoken out and condemned the press for ignoring Mr. Klein's book. Shame on them!

I guess the press is (by far) more focused on airing footage such as the Abu Ghraib (so-called) prisoner abuse, above wasting their time covering or promoting books, that might push their liberal friends into compromising positions. After all, isn't it more important to aid and abet the enemy by painting how bad poor terrorist detainees are being treated in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay (Gitmo) prisons?

For goodness sakes! ...Gitmo's not a doctor's office that should be giving out "suckers" to good little boys and girls for being good, this is a prison!

Maybe the depressed news media can send out "bouquets of fresh roses" every day or stop by and kiss their "booboos" to ease the pain of the abused from their abusive interrogators. Besides, why should anyone care if the (supposedly) incapacitated detainees can provide information that may intercept another imminent 9/11 attack?

Psst . . . haven't you guys and gals ever heard of being forewarned — leads to being forearmed? You know the kind of forewarning that some of you insinuated President Bush had knowledge of that should have prevented the 9/11 attack.

It must be right up there, " close to the pits" for the news media to be controlled by such a small handful of people. Come on . . . get your ratings up! Let Mr. Klein promote his book. If you can give author Kitty Kelly air time to promote her "October surprise" book about the "Bush" family — surely Mr. Klein's book about Ms. Clinton will bring you more viewers, and isn't that what it's all about?

The print newspapers are "begrudgingly" reporting a decline in sales periodically, while the televised press is losing viewers and listeners right and left. Hello! ...thump, thump — anybody home? Don't you think it's time to start paving another route, since the one you've been on has reached a dead-end? And I bet you thought there were enough liberals to keep you in business.

At least the editor of the New York Times is beginning to see the light — well sorta. According to the editor, the paper is going to strive to be more receptive to the conservative views when hiring reporters and columnists, not concentrating solely on hiring mostly liberal employees. Will, somebody please give them a big jar of Folgers — for waking up and smelling the coffee?!

I will have to give author Edward Klein a big round of applause for being "gutsy." — especially when so many others would probably prefer to see him just evaporate into thin air or probably worse.

But Hillary Clinton doesn't have anything to worry about when she has the renown Reverend Billy Graham in her court trying to convince the American people that she's qualified to run the country. Next Mr. Graham may say she's a real cherub!

Oh please . . . pretty, please . . . Dr. Graham, don't go that far — or you'll throw the "conservatives" into cardiac arrest!

And that's just my opinion!
