Democrats have "resignation" . . . embedded in their brains
By Kaye Grogan

Resignation, resignation . . . do the Democrats know any other word in the English language? I didn't hear a single Democrat calling for Senator Dick Durbin's resignation, when he called the treatment of Guantanamo Bay (GITMO) detainees by American prison guards as Nazis' and bullies. Do any of you guys ever watch yourselves on TV to see how meanspirited and obnoxious you really are?

God help us if the Democrats were detectives trying to find the real culprit in a White House leak. Assistant Chief Deputy Karl Rove who doesn't look like anyone's pushover, would be crazy to divulge an undercover CIA operative or sensitive classified information — especially, involving the wife of a John Kerry supporter. DUH! Let's face reality . . . Rove would come out better jumping off of the "Empire State Building."

My suggestion to Democrats: learn how to take the high road, and stop attempting to make yourselves look credible by attacking Republicans, because out here in the real world away from the halls of the Capitol Building, you're looking very silly and desperate. You would be better representatives to the people — if you came up with a way to get this country straightened out. When is the last time you presented a platform dealing effectively with the issues the American people view as crucial and in dire need of viable solutions? While you're sitting around bellyaching over being out of power, the security in the country has gone to pot!

Haven't you heard that you gather more bees with honey than vinegar? You Democrats badmouth President Bush, and yet expect him to actually take your advice, and pick from the three judges you have decided should be considered to be confirmed for the U.S. Supreme Court. Just what are you people eating for breakfast?

Senator Hillary Clinton compares President Bush to Mad Magazine character Alfred E. Neuman, and her husband Bill is playing golf with the elder former President Bush on a weekly basis, so good luck on figuring out what kind of love-hate relationship is going on here.

In fact, you'll need a lot of luck on figuring out what's going on in Washington, D.C. — period! If President Bush's goal was to be a Uniter not a Divider in Washington, well . . . he can chalk up that goal as a no-show. I don't think even God could unite the folks in Washington, D.C.

I don't know how the country survived — when Democrats were in power. I guess the credit has to go to the Republicans, because they were the majority under the Clinton administration — well until Senator Jeffords jumped ship, and became a pretentious "Independent." Thank goodness, the Democratic control only lasted about a year until the next election.

Former President Bill Clinton is favoring illegal immigration, because he believes immigrants will help Social Security. Yeah . . . they will help out all right! ...help to bankrupt the fund!

On the one hand, Hillary Clinton is blasting President Bush for not taking securing our borders seriously, while husband Bill, who might (God forbid) — become the first-husband of the country, is singing the praises of keeping our borders lax. Are these two even on the same planet?

It is abundantly clear that the economy is more important to many people above securing our borders. How are you going to spend your money from bomb shelters or draw your money out of (leveled to the ground) banks? Don't you think it's time to take off all of those rose-colored glasses and get real!

Democrats and Republican alike — YOU have allowed the security of this country to be compromised. You wanted the country to be diversified, saturated with foreigners, pretending it was for our best interest. How can you say it is in our best interest to be threatened on a daily basis to be blown to smithereens? NO — this is not a small price to pay for a booming economy. Unless you guys have found out a way for everybody to come back from the dead — what good is a booming economy?

Instead of programing your brains to attack one another in the chamber of congress — you'd be better off to get serious (I'm talking dead serious here) — and get on with protecting this country against terrorist attacks. If there are (as reported) at least two smuggled nuclear weapons already in the United States built with the deadly compounds of Plutonium and Uranium — somebody had better get on the ball and find them ASAP!

Speaking of resignation . . . I don't think too many Democrats (counting fingers on one hand) — called for the resignation of President Clinton during the "Impeachment" debacle. Yeah . . . I know you all wish this blight on history would just fade off into the sunset, but when a president is impeached, this is news, considering there has only been two in the history of America, to be in this particular (rare) lineup.

Yeah . . . you Democrats have resignation on the brain — except when it comes to one of your own. Go figure!

And that's just my opinion!
