Unveiling of the ACLU . . . has finally arrived
By Kaye Grogan

Don't you think it's time the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) proves beyond a bunch of rhetoric that saying "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance is an established religion mandated by the government?

I am still in the dark, as I am sure a lot of other people are stumbling around in the same darkness, trying to figure out what religion or God the government is mandating that we worship.

It has been slow in arriving, but the veil of deceit worn by the ACLU for so many years, has finally been raised to show their true agenda. And the light showing on their faces is harsh indeed!

They have finally reached the plateau — that you can't fool all the people all the time. Can I hear a big Hallelujah and Amen?

If the founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin instructed the original members to always look patriotic and appear to champion the rights of ALL people and to pass the same advice down through the generations — boy, somewhere along the line, somebody dropped the ball, and the group's true agenda is now showing. How can you look patriotic if you are always in the attack mode trying to abolish the pledge, and attempting to destroy religious rights, while being advocates for vices that are destroying the morals of the country?

Can you believe the ACLU wants to have school officials in Louisiana thrown in jail, because someone offered a prayer over the PA system before a basketball game? But mercy! ...don't send pedophiles to jail or make them register in the areas they live in or you will be infringing on their rights. And don't interfere with the smut pornography factories as they saturate the country and world with filth.

Boy, the veils these people are wearing are getting so frayed — they wouldn't even make a decent spider web. But I will give the ACLU credit for laboring for a long time trying to play God themselves.

For several years now, appointed liberal judges have ruled in favor of the ACLU, but the scales of injustice and shaky legislating benches are slowly, but surely being replaced with conservative judges who will interpret the laws, not rewrite them as they see fit.

Well, well, the latest judicial nominee Samuel A. Alito for the U.S. Supreme Court has the liberals up in the air. Well . . . where else would they be — since they expel so much hot air?

It's encouraging to see the folks at People for the American Way and Americans United for Separation of Church and State and similar groups in a tizzy over President Bush's nominee replacement for Harriet Miers.

Heaven's to Betsy! ...just the thought of Judge Alito who supports religious freedoms and is against abortion serving on the U.S. Supreme Court, should help raise the net profits of stomach analgesics and sleeping pill companies, considerably. In fact, this might be an excellent time to buy a few shares of stock in these products.

Goodness! ...many are saying if Judge Alito is confirmed for the high court, the country is going to be divided. GOING to be divided? Ha! ...the division in the country already makes the distance between the Grand Canyon appear small in comparison.

The ACLU has already been rebuffed a few times in court by Judge Alito for their role in trying to abolish everything to do with Christ in Christmas. If the ACLU "godless" group and other agnostic groups find it offensive to celebrate the birth of Christ, that is their prerogative, but at the same time, they do not have the legal right to interfere with Christians and other people of faith — as they celebrate his miraculous birth.

While the left is gearing up for a big fight to oppose the confirmation of Judge Alito, the conservatives have already put on their boxing gloves.

And may the best conservatives WIN!

And that's just my opinion!
