Protestors. . . missing in action
By Kaye Grogan
You want to talk about the lives lost in Iraq? Well, I want to talk about the lives lost right here in America. Did any of you anti-war protestors march against those responsible for slaughtering over 45 million innocent unborn babies? Did you march in protest when little nine-year-old Jessica Lunsford was abducted from her home, brutally raped, and buried alive only 200 yards from her home? Have you staged a protest against the judge in Vermont who sentenced a rapist to only 60 days after he raped a six-year-old little girl for four years? And how many of you get behind the wheel of a car intoxicated? Have you protested the 17,000 killed by drunk drivers annually, and the 500,000 maimed? Have you protested the young people killed by street gangs?
You want to talk about the brutality in Iraq? Well, I want to talk about the brutality right here in America. How many of you pro-choice folks have actually watched a baby in its mother's womb being punctured and dismembered like a chicken cut up for the frying pan? At least the chicken is dead before it is cut up. Have you seen a baby 90 percent born have its brain punctured, and the gray matter suctioned out causing the baby's brain to collapse and immediate death?
You want soldiers to have a choice whether or not they want to go to war? Well, I want babies to be able to live and mothers NOT have a choice to terminate their pregnancies through legalized murder. And I want sex predators to really suffer for taking away the innocence of children — leaving them with a lifetime of horrible memories — if the children are not brutally murdered and discarded like a piece of trash.
Have you staged a protest against a decent conservative judge, in favor of a liberal judge, who will help to morally bankrupt America? And have you protested the religious rights of Christians to worship freely, while condoning the blaspheming of God's name?
You want to talk about how "uncivilized" people in the middle east are? Well, I want to talk about how uncivilized many people are here in America. You don't want to restrain yourself, and follow the rules, so you search out people with the same mind set to band together and help destroy traditional values.
You want to talk about how conservatives are radicals and right wing fanatics? Well, I want to talk about the real radicals. The real radicals are those who have set out to remove Christ from Christmas, the judges who tell parents that their rights stop at school entrances, and abortion is an acceptable way to end the life of unwanted or handicapped children. The list goes on and on.
You want to talk about legalizing Marijuana? Well, I want to talk about how Marijuana users endanger the lives of other people in automobiles, trains, airplanes, etc. And how they set bad examples for impressionable children.
You want to talk about how free welfare programs, medical costs, and education are great for illegal immigrants? Well, I want to talk about how the working Americans are forced to be classified as second class citizens, as they struggle to send their children to college, put food on their tables, and the senior citizens who can't get the proper assistance with their medical costs.
Our illustrious government should be far more concerned about its own people and their well-being above foreigners.
Maybe it's time we Americans forced them to buy our votes through free programs?
You want to talk about how you think "freedom of speech" and expression protects cesspools of pornography, and the right to defame good character? Well, I want to talk about how vile pornography is, and how it is eroding our society. And I want to talk about how many people abuse their freedom of speech. No you don't have the right to say anything you want to. With free speech comes responsibility. If you can't show restraint — then someone should do it for you. I get sick and tired of hearing: "well, that's the price you pay for living in a democracy." Is this what a democracy is all about? I don't think so!
Expressing an opinion and defaming someone you don't agree with, is two separate issues.
You want to talk about how the president shouldn't authorize wire-tapping to listen to conversations taking place between potential terrorists to thwart another 9/11 attack, because you cherish your privacy? Well, I want to talk about how vital it is to protect the American people above privacy. What good is privacy if you're in an aircraft heading toward a skyscraper with only moments left to live, with a crazed terrorist piloting the plane? And what benefit is privacy to you, if you are forced to wear gas masks, because a nuclear weapon has been detonated near or in your area?
You might want to talk about impeaching President Bush for looking after your well-being. Well, I want to talk about giving him a "medal of honor" because he is protecting you from becoming a casualty — in spite of your anti-American stance.
There is a big difference in someone looking after your best interest, as opposed to someone using you as their political puppet to cause division, and discord between fellow Americans.
The only way this country can remain great. . . is to strive for unity.
And that's just my opinion!
