America needs rescuing . . . from Catch-22 bureaucracy
By Kaye Grogan
It is downright scary the mess our government is in right now. I believe there has always been, and will always be corruption in government. But the corruption right now is at an all-time high. Like the majority, I am worried if we don't get busy and put action to our feet above the usual political chatter — we are going to (I'm afraid) just keep getting more of the same candidates in the 2008 election.
Republican Rudy Giuliani who many are looking at as a viable upcoming 2008 presidential candidate is pro-choice, anti-gun, and for same-sex unions, and psst . . . he's also for eventually granting citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants — so, he is not a viable presidential candidate in my book. Although, I do have to extend to him respect for the way he jerked himself up by the boot straps and took the lead after the horrendous 9/11 attack, I still could never vote for him for president.
Oftentimes, even the lesser of two evils is not enough. And if you team Hillary Clinton up on one side and Giuliani on the other side — there is not a donut's difference when you compare their liberal ideology. Besides, the Christians, pro-life groups, and pro-gun advocates are not going to support his candidacy, just to say we have a Republican in office. And they are certainly not going to be foolish enough to vote for a Democrat either, so we'll probably be still left with a Catch-22 bureaucratic dependency.
If our spiritual leaders would help to back a "massive" write-in ballot in 2008 — we could say goodbye to the controlling two-party system. Both parties are too busy worrying that the other party might sneeze more than they do — to be doing anything constructive for the country.
The recent facts are indicating that the president and many of the Republicans are leaning toward eventually granting amnesty to millions upon millions of illegal immigrants. And with our current laws already so vulnerable — what kind of attitude is this to convey to a bunch of foreign lawbreakers? Besides, due to the backing by hundreds of anti-American groups "unleashed" here in our country who are encouraging (mainly) Hispanics to demand rights that they don't have or are entitled to — just where is the government when you need them? Why aiding and abetting wrongdoing is where. And as long as we the people continue to accept this type of invasion on our territory — nothing is going to halt the demand and incentives for more of the same lawlessness to occur.
The U.S. government (using our money) has encouraged everyone to come on over to America — where they take care of everybody but our own. Who wouldn't want to come to America when the word is out of how if you go to America illegally, you will receive all kinds of freebies? Cut out the astronomical incentives, and the flow of illegal immigrants would come to an abrupt halt.
If companies who want to hire cheap labor — were eventually forced to close their doors eliminating the underground breeding of undocumented workers this problem could be nipped in the bud almost overnight.
Sometimes, the easiest solution to a problem is (intentionally) overlooked.
There are many more important things in life above the economy. Besides, if we are trillions of dollars in debt — how can anyone with a straight face tell the people that the economy is flourishing and booming? Take away the "plastic" credit card money, and the economy would melt down faster than an ice cube placed on a Queens, New York — sidewalk
Folks we are in a real mess! The people that we have entrusted our future to have let us down for their own financial gain, while our so-called prosperity is a big farce.
Behind our backs, plans to incorporate a one-world-order nation has gained considerable ground. And if we don't step up and end the fraternizing and plotting (at our expense) — between our government and the leaders of other countries. . . then we can just say "goodbye" to America.
And that's just my opinion!
