Merry Christmas to you too . . . ACLU!
By Kaye Grogan
There has been and always will be — people who try to dispel the true meaning of Christmas. Here is a perfect example: There may have been more than three wise men or not any who came to visit the Baby Jesus at the stable where He was born.
Well, most know that in those days it took a long time to navigate from one area to another riding camels — so it's not surprising to find out that Jesus was probably a year or maybe older before they arrived with their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
What is the true motive behind 14 percent of the population here in America trying to destroy the traditions of Christmas? Well, there are probably many reasons, but the main reason is to try and move secularism (without God to hinder the underground movement) closer to becoming a reality. But what they fail to take into consideration is the fact: God is not going to cooperate — nor His people.
It's amazing how freedom here in America is eating its own. The attack on Christmas goes way beyond just offending certain people or other religious beliefs. A person does not have to be a high-profile lawyer to figure out that the anti-Christmas groups are on a mission and are using people of other cultures to ignite and feed their antireligious appetite.
It's amazing how the ACLU abhors religion, and yet will use the religion of other cultures to try and restrict religion from the public arena.
Without the secretive backing of anti-God groups, the people who have migrated to America from other countries would be afraid to try and mandate their religious practices on a national level where the majority professes to be of the Judea-Christian faith.
But the whole point by atheists and agnostics is to encourage those who don't believe in the God this country was founded on to cry "foul" whenever the Christian traditionalists speak God's name — hoping eventually to achieve a "godless" nation.
Hmm . . . I wonder how they are going to suppress the religious beliefs of those they are using to wipe out Christianity?
As groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) advance toward using liberally-minded judges to help them publicly remove Christmas Trees, Nativity Scenes, and block school children from singing Christmas Carols, etc. — the more astute and determined the pro-Jesus groups become, as they incite their Christmas Warriors to counterattack with a gusto that is hard to match.
You can rest assured that the ACLU has a well-orchestrated plan to rid the country of any boundaries that may restrict bad behavior — while attempting to cripple the rights of god-fearing and law-abiding citizens in the overall process.
For anyone to try and disrupt or destroy the feeling of goodwill that most people feel during Christmastime is disgusting to say the least.
While there are around 200,000 practicing ACLU members and about 10 percent of the population who wants to have a Christ-less holiday — this number hardly constitutes a majority.
But they have a judicial group that is helping them along (quite nicely) to wreak havoc on Christianity.
Without the self-gratification and help of liberal lawyers and judges who are participating in dismantling religion and chipping away at orthodox traditional values — the ACLU would not be the viable, intimidating organization it has become since its inception in 1917.
While the ACLU claims to be fighting for the equal rights of all people, their actions belie this claim — otherwise the rights of Christians would not be so "intensely" under attack.
There is only one way to interpret what the ACLU is up to since actions speak louder than words, and that is to go figure.
Yes, there are many Gods, but all but one — are imposters.
More than two thousand years ago in the little town of Bethlehem a child was born who would have more impact on the lives of all mankind, above any other person to date. It is not by accident that this impact has survived throughout every kind of attack imaginable, and will continue to survive throughout eternity.
Many people are buying Operation 'Merry Christmas" bracelets to wear to show they are against the so-called politically correct anti-Christmas crowd.
And if you really want to see a card carrying ACLU member turn from Grinch green to red — just wish them a "Merry Christmas" and they will be livid!
So Merry Christmas to you too . . . ACLU!
And that's just my opinion . . . about CHRIST-mas!
