Don't resurrect the amnesty bill
By Kaye Grogan

The last priority on our list should be for congress to pass a new comprehensive immigration bill to secure our borders. What we desperately need instead are dedicated leaders who will work in earnest, to see that the immigration laws already on the books are strictly enforced and obeyed.

There is no way on God's green earth that the majority of the American people are going to believe the pro-amnesty group in Washington, D.C. — (mainly championed by the La Raza members) — when they keep echoing how they are going to enforce the new immigration laws providing we embrace and welcome 12-20 million lawbreakers as new citizens permanently into our country.

By the way! . . .how can the 12-20 million number be accurate if no one actually observed and recorded every illegal crossing? The total number of illegal immigrants in our country could be triple the estimated amount.

Furthermore, if the authorities don't know where these people are — we would be total fools to trust our well-being to any of these people in homeland security or the federal government.

Right now in sanctuary cities in many states, including New York, the police force is getting heat for even asking if someone is an illegal immigrant, and they want us to believe enforceable laws are on the way?

While there may be a fool born every minute — don't expect everyone born to be a total idiot.

I don't think the majority of the current members of congress could ever be trusted to secure our borders. All they are good for is exasperating the problem. There is not one good reason or excuse to justify how the immigration mess has escalated — especially during the current administration's watch.

Under the Bush Administration, the number of illegals who have secretly crossed our borders has more than tripled in comparison with other presidents. And we were assured by him, that we were being protected against terrorists and invasions from other countries.

If this is the case . . . God help us if we are ever unprotected!

On Tuesday President Bush went to the Senate to try and sway (or manipulate) the Republicans to agree with him on his wobbly immigration stance, but if they are smart and want to keep their seats — they will tell him to take a hike.

The president wants to get his rocky road to amnesty started long before he even considers securing the borders. If you were ever foolish enough to put faith into the ability of the federal government to secure our borders — explain what happened to the 700-mile fence and 20,000 new Border Patrol Agents.

Come on . . . it's preposterous to expect the American citizens to sit by and watch their country and jobs continue down the drain, as the big daddies pacify big businesses promoting greediness with each passing day.

In case anyone hasn't absorbed what is really going on behind the scenes — here goes! The companies that you helped to grow into prosperity want to replace you with cheap laborers, so they can avoid paying high wages, and escape providing expensive benefits for you. It has nothing whatsoever to do with finding employees who will do the jobs that the American people won't do.

Surely you don't think for one minute that many of the jobs moved to other counties is just a coincidence? You, the American people are a hindrance to corporate America, and you must be replaced. You demand high wages, and expensive benefits and you are (in most cases) represented by bullish unions.

I think one of the most laughable excuses to justify the invasion by Mexico, is the claim that American workers are getting old and there won't be enough young workers to meet the demand of the workforce in the future. They could be right since a new baby is born in America every single second.

So the answer is to encourage an invasion by another country, and hope like the dickens they won't become senior citizens too?

No! ...the resolution to the illegal immigration problem can only be achieved through the logical and sustained effort of the following immigration procedures:

NO AMNESTY!
SECURE THE BORDERS!
ENFORCE THE LAWS!
NO NORTH AMERICAN UNION!
END AUTOMATIC BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP!

And that's just my opinion!
