Trump is not looking too good

Now, at about 60 days into his administration, Trump's ratings are at an all-time low with 58 percent disapproval, and 37 percent approval. To be honest, what has he really accomplished other than talking, tweeting, and issuing non-enforceable executive orders and legislation that will not pass.

His travel ban, supposedly to protect Americans is not going to succeed because of religious discrimination. His health care bill will fail too because it will harm not only millions of Americans, but the economy as well. At least have a plan for all those who will lose coverage, but there is no mention of community healthcare centers or other remedies. Most of these people would rather have jobs, but it would be better if they were employed before they were cut off from their desperately needed benefits. Also, the defunding of Planned Parenthood will cause many women to lose critical health care benefits such as HIV testing, health screenings, and prenatal care.

Why not stop the program that allows companies to replace American workers with immigrants at lower pay and forces these workers to train them? How many of these workers did Trump use as well in his businesses? What about the nonunion Polish immigrants that he paid little or nothing, and subjected them to dangerous conditions that unions would not allow.

Trump may say that he is pro-life, but if his proposed health cuts and deregulations for the safety of air and water are successful, many will get sicker and/or die. In addition, these cuts will affect labor regulations and the ADA. Thus, years of hard won battles will be destroyed and we will go back to a time that was not kind to many Americans. Apparently, he only wants to be kind to big businesses like his own organization.

He violated fair housing laws by refusing to rent to Blacks and Americans in favor or Russians to exploit the HUD Section 8 Program by which he could raise his rents and collect them from the government.

His proposal to cut aid to the poor countries in the world and not cut funds to Israel is going to cause more problems for Israel, as well as fuel antisemitism here and around the world. And cutting funds to these countries for health care will cause epidemics and pandemics that could reach our shores and those of our allies.

He has managed to alienate the disabled community, Mexicans and Latinos, women, American Indians, Moslems, and many of our most important allies, including Brittan, Germany, Mexico, and Australia. However, he has not insulted Putin once, claiming that the fact that he is a mass murder is not so bad because there are many murderers here, and we are "not so innocent" as a country. Is he saying that we have a lot in common with a mass murderer and serial killer?

He has also hurt our image around the world by defaming the FBI, CIA, and Homeland Security by saying that only he knows the truth about spying techniques used on him, and their investigations mean nothing. Also, he continues to downplay our military by saying that they are hopelessly out of date, while our military is the best in the world and we protect many other nations. Our enemies like to hear things like this because they not only make America look bad, but also WEAK!

Trump is a salesman, but the American people are not buying his marketing plan. He takes credit for increased jobs or expansion of companies that were planned well before his was in office.

Why is the FBI looking for ties to Russia, when all they should do is go to Brighton Beach and other nearby areas and interview Russians? They can also look go to prisons and ask Russian mobsters questions. Trump has been involved with Russians since the late 80's or before, and many Russians invested multi millions into his properties.

If he cares so much about putting people to work, why doesn't he fill federal jobs instead of laying off employees in the government? Why chose a judge who is blatantly anti-labor and anti-women? All we see is tweets and executive orders, but little to nothing has really been accomplished in the Trump White House.

Perhaps after the investigation into Russian involvement is complete or before, we will see a change of personnel in the White House, including Donald Trump. In fact, most of his inner circle, including Flynn, are gone now because of their heavy Russian involvement.

Trump has all the classic qualities of a bully, but he is more dangerous because he is in power. The foundation of America is in danger, as is our spirit and reputation around the world. No, Trump is not looking so well these days, but to me, he never did!
