Gasoline conservation
By Cynthia A. Janak
Now, I know you have heard this before and many think this is just a joke, but believe it or not, this one is not a joke.
What I propose is for the American Patriot to limit their consumption of gasoline to a minimum. I would like to see gasoline free weekends. This means no gasoline-consuming vehicle that is in use in the United States of America purchases any fuel of any type on the weekend.
My reasoning is this. They say that the increased consumption of gasoline because of the summer months and increased travel have caused an extreme shortage. Well, who am I to debate that fact. It is because of this high demand and the shortages caused by refineries closing that the prices that we have to pay are so high, up to $3.00 a gallon. Well, using their theory, if we consume less then there will be no shortage, therefore the price of gasoline should go down to manageable costs, like $2.00 a gallon.
What the American Patriot needs to do is limit all travel on the weekends to the bear necessity. If there is, any way the American Patriot can do their errands during the workweek (Monday thru Friday) that would be the optimum. This way there will be two days from that week that no or limited fuel is consumed or purchased. The American Patriot does this every weekend and it will all add up. The other thing to do is get the word to the American Patriot teamsters so they can also limit the amount of time their trucks are on the road to weekdays only. This would put the bite on industry but they need to conserve during this emergency. The deliveries to all foreign companies that have started to do business here in the last few years will have to conserve also because they are on United States soil.
The American Patriot airlines could also be of help. The American Patriot airlines could limit the amount of flights during the week. I am stressing during the week because more business people fly on the weekdays. The planes are just not that full of passengers. Boy, what a cost that would be to have some exec stuck in Germany or France because they cannot get back because of limited flights because of fuel conservation. The cost of extra meals and extended hotel stays. Not to mention the long distance phone charges that would be on the good old corporate expense account. I feel sadness for all the businesses that are overseas that needs to get a shipment via airfreight. Well, they will have to wait because of the fuel conservation concerns of the American Patriot shipping industry. I wonder what the foreign airlines are going to do when the American Patriots have to limit the amount of flights because of the American Patriots conservation efforts because of our fuel shortages.
It is just so terrible that the American Patriots are forced to these actions in order to conserve our precious resources of fuel products. I just feel so, so bad about all this you cannot imagine.
Just think about all those American Patriot trucks that must run shipments to Canada and to ships and planes for overseas destinations for drug companies in league with the UN/WHO will also have to conserve fuel during this emergency shortage. I feel so bad for all those people in foreign countries that will not get their free drugs in a timely manner.
All those American Patriot construction companies out there would have to cut back on the projects that require the tearing down of homes because of eminent domain. That would be a shame. I can feel their pain. Those big dump trucks and other construction equipment use up a lot of gasoline you know. They would be better served in this time of crisis by building and repairing roads and highways. Building new schools, hospitals and places of worship are more of a necessity. I do not think that the American Patriot would miss another mall or golf course. I guess the corporate headquarters will just have to conserve and make due with the facilities that they are presently using. I guess tearing down of homes for corporate penthouse suites will just have to wait until this emergency is over. Sorry, people, money cannot run cars or trucks, gasoline does and we all need to do our part as American Patriots and conserve our resources.
I just thought of another way to conserve fuel is with the American Patriot dockworkers and the American Patriot shipping industry. All those ships that are bringing foreign goods for sale here from China will have to wait in port because the American Patriot dockworkers must limit the amount of fuel consumed because of this emergency.
This urgent situation is so bad. All those new found problems because the American Patriot felt the need to conserve a very important resource called fuel. Oh, Gee Whiz. What a shame, but we all need to do our part.
The best time to start the conservation of our fuel will be on September 10th. That will give the American Patriot time to prepare for unilateral conservation efforts.
During this time of crisis, we all need to unify all of our efforts to conserve fuel in every way that is possible. We need to recognize that our government is doing everything they can and now it is up to the American Patriot to do their part.
If you have any other way the American Patriot can conserve our resource of fuel I would be happy to hear from you.
