Gardasil vaccine -- poison or cure
By Cynthia A. Janak

Since writing my series on this vaccine there has been one thing that has been bothering me. That is the side-effects that are being reported by the people affected but to varying degrees. . Here is a basic list of what I have found.

Seizures
Dizziness
Muscle weakness
Nausea
Joint Pain
Hallucinations
Stomach Pain
Hives, Rash, Itching
Flu-like Symptoms
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Fatigue

The parents of the girls that are affected are sick with worry and are doing everything in their power to find out why this is happening to their precious child. They are putting their daughters through test after test to try and find an answer. Here is an excerpt from one such mother.

Hello Candice. Thank you for joining and sharing your story.

This group will give you a place to vent about it and get support. We
all know what you and your family are going thru.

Im sorry that your niece is going thru this.

My daughter Mikaela is having similar problems.. We have been going thru
this since August.

*Flu like symptoms
*low fever
*fatigue
*abdominal pain
*kidney issues
*headaches
*thyroid problems
*weight gain
*no period in over a year
*rash on her face, neck and chest
*a seizure

Shes had all kinds of blood work, EKG, EEG and an MRI. She has been seen by 2 Pediatricians, a Nephrologist, Endocrinologist and has an appointment with a Neurologist at the end of this month.

I am seeing these types of comments more and more as I continue my series. I had a young lady contact me because she read my articles on Gardasil looking for answers and support. Here is her email with her name removed. This is what spurred me into action as to finding a reason for these side-effects.

Can you help me??

No one here believes me!!

I am a 22 year old female from Australia. Last Thursday I received my 1st dose of Gardasil from my GP. I had no idea of what it could do! I already have HPV, and undergo paps and colposcopies regularly to keep and eye on it. I didn't see the point in getting the needles, but I was told I still should! I have it though, what can it do?? I was told it is free, so I should just have it.

I felt fine on Thursday. I felt tired and was extremely dizzy on Friday. I woke up Saturday morning and my left wrist felt like it had been jarred really bad. Saturday night I thought my legs were aching, so I headed to bed to rest them up. I woke up Sunday morning and it hurt to do anything — every one of my joints was in severe pain. Come this morning (Monday morning) my fingers have swollen to twice their usual size and I have been in tears all day because the pain in my joints is almost unbearable. I cannot pour myself a drink, make my own food, put my shoes on or anything — it bloody hurts! Typing this is painful. Something is really wrong with me!

I went back to my doctor, I told her I thought I was having a reaction to Gardasil. She said that the pain I was experiencing could not be a reaction to Gardasil because they did tests and half the girls tested were not injected with Gardisal. The complaints of muscle and joint pain were the same in the girls injected as the ones not injected!

I don't know what else it could be. She said it is something else because I had a gastro viral bug a couple of weeks ago, and that was followed by a rash! And I am normally healthy! But something isn't right. She took blood, but I just know that I am going to get brushed off. This isn't normal!!

I have no idea what to do. I've been trying to research on the net, and from what I am reading this stuff does happen! Girls are dizzy, fainting, having seizures, and some are paralyzed. Is severe joint pain usual? Can you please tell me anything you know!!

I don't want to get the other needles, but everyone thinks I am crazy. I am not crazy, it just hurts so so much, and I am scared of what is happening to me! It is scary how I feel right now, and will it ever go away?! And what kind of stuff is going to happen to me in the future?! I wish I never said yes to getting it. I feel so stupid!

I'm scared, and thought you may be able to tell me if this is a reaction other people have had before?

I don't know what to do! I have to go back to work tomorrow, and I don't know how I am going to do it!

IF you can offer me any help or advice, please do!!!

Thank you,

This young 22 year old just broke my heart. What can I do for her? I am halfway across the world from her. I did the best that I could by directing her to two organizations in Australia and I told her to call her family and get some help from them in the day to day activities. What else could I do? This email affected me down to my very soul.

It bothered me so much that it is starting to affect my sleep and is in my thoughts a lot during the day. When something bothers me this much I have to dig and dig and dig to find a probable answer.

What I did first was research the symptoms and try to find something that matched all or most of the symptoms reported. I do not like what I found.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotoxic

Neurotoxicity occurs when the exposure to natural or manmade toxic substances, which are called neurotoxins, alters the normal activity of the nervous system in such a way as to cause damage to nervous tissue. This can eventually disrupt or even kill neurons, key cells that transmit and process signals in the brain and other parts of the nervous system. Neurotoxicity can result from exposure to substances used in chemotherapy, radiation treatment, drug therapies and organ transplants, as well as exposure to heavy metals such as lead and mercury, certain foods and food additives, pesticides, industrial and/or cleaning solvents, cosmetics, and some naturally occurring substances. Symptoms may appear immediately after exposure or be delayed. They may include limb weakness or numbness, loss of memory, vision, and/or intellect, headache, cognitive and behavioral problems and sexual dysfunction. Individuals with certain disorders may be especially vulnerable to neurotoxins.

The name implies the role of a neurotoxin although the term 'neurotoxic' may be used more loosely to describe states that are known to cause physical brain damage but where no obvious neurotoxin has been identified.

The term neurotoxic is used to describe a substance, condition or state that damages the nervous system and/or brain, usually by killing neurons. The term is generally used to describe a condition or substance that has been shown to result in observable physical damage. The presence of neurocognitive deficits alone are not usually considered sufficient evidence of neurotoxicity, as many substances exist which may impair neurocognitive performance without resulting in the death of neurons. This may be due to the direct action of the substance, with the impairment and neurocognitive deficits being temporary, and resolving when the substance is metabolized from the body. In some cases the level or exposure-time may be critical, with some substances only becoming neurotoxic in certain doses or time periods.

Prognosis

The prognosis depends upon the length and degree of exposure and the severity of neurological injury. In some instances, exposure to neurotoxins can be fatal. In others, patients may survive but not fully recover. In other situations, many individuals recover completely after treatment.

What I did was find the explanation on each of the ingredients listed for Gardasil. Here are the ingredients: Each 0.5-mL dose of the vaccine contains approximately 225 mcg of aluminum (as amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate adjuvant), 9.56 mg of sodium chloride, 0.78 mg of L-histidine, 50 mcg of polysorbate 80, 35 mcg of sodium borate, and water for injection. The product does not contain a preservative or antibiotics.

Let me start with aluminum (as amorphous aluminum hydroxyphosphate sulfate adjuvant). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminum

Aluminium (IPA: /ˌćljʊˈmɪniəm/, /ˌćljəˈmɪniəm/) or aluminum (/əˈluːmɪnəm/, see spelling below) is a silvery white and ductile member of the boron group of chemical elements. It has the symbol Al; its atomic number is 13. It is not soluble in water under normal circumstances. Aluminium is the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust, and the third most abundant element overall, after oxygen and silicon. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface. Aluminium is too reactive chemically to occur in nature as the free metal. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals.[1] The chief source of aluminium is bauxite ore.

Aluminium compounds

Aluminium hydroxide (Al(OH)3) is used: as an antacid, as a mordant, in water purification, in the manufacture of glass and ceramic and in the waterproofing of fabrics.

Aluminium phosphate (AlPO4) is used in the manufacture: of glass and ceramic, pulp and paper products, cosmetics, paints and varnishes and in making dental cement.

Aluminium sulfate (Al2(SO4)3) is used: in the manufacture of paper, as a mordant, in a fire extinguisher, in water purification and sewage treatment, as a food additive, in fireproofing, and in leather tanning.

In many vaccines, certain aluminium salts serve as an immune adjuvant (immune response booster) to allow the protein in the vaccine to achieve sufficient potency as an immune stimulant.

Precautions

The toxicity of aluminium can be traced to increased deposition in bone and the central nervous system, particularly in the presence of reduced renal function. Because aluminium competes with calcium for absorption, increased amounts of dietary aluminium may contribute to the reduced skeletal mineralization (osteopenia) observed in preterm infants and infants with growth retardation. Full-term infants with normal renal function do not seem to be at substantial risk from aluminium toxicity from soy protein-based formulas. Aluminium can cause neurotoxicity in very high doses which can alter the function of the blood-brain barrier.[30] It is one of the few abundant elements that have no known function in living cells. A small percentage of people are allergic to it — they experience contact dermatitis: an itchy rash from using styptic or antiperspirant products, digestive disorders and inability to absorb nutrients from eating food cooked in aluminium pans, and vomiting and other symptoms of poisoning from ingesting such products as Amphojel, and Maalox (antacids). Such allergies are extremely rare though, in other people aluminium is not considered as toxic as heavy metals, but there is evidence of some toxicity if it is consumed in excessive amounts. The use of aluminium cookware, popular because of its corrosion resistance and good heat conduction, has not been shown to lead to aluminium toxicity in general. Excessive consumption of antacids containing aluminium compounds and excessive use of aluminium-containing antiperspirants are more likely causes of toxicity. Aluminium increases estrogen-related gene expression in human breast cancer cells grown in the laboratory.[31] These salts' estrogen-like effects have led to their classification as a metalloestrogen.

It is interesting that it states that a small amount of people are allergic to it. That could be the reason to the amount of reports about adverse effects.

After reading this I am going to look at my aluminum pots in a different light. Also, I think I am going to find prepared foods that are in a jar instead of cans from now on. If I cannot find the product that I want I guess I will have to go to the old fashioned way called canning.

Now, let us look at something here. These girls are having their food prepared in aluminum pots and pans. Some of our prepared food and drinks are in aluminum cans. They might take an antacid for an upset stomach. Then they get a shot with aluminum that they could be sensitive to. Put that together and they could have aluminum poisoning.

When I saw the word poisoning I just had to look up poisoning symptoms. I found this on the CDC website. http://www.cdc.gov/nasd/docs/d000801-d000900/d000817/d000817.html

Poisoning Symptoms

Each chemical family attacks the human body in a different way. General poisoning symptoms include the following.

Mild Poisoning

Headache, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, restlessness, perspiration, nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, loss of weight, thirst, moodiness, soreness in joints, skin irritation, eye irritation.

Moderate Poisoning

Severe nausea, severe diarrhea, excessive saliva, stomach cramps, excessive perspiration, trembling, no muscle coordination and muscle twitches, extreme weakness, mental confusion, blurred vision, difficulty in breathing, cough, rapid pulse, flushed or yellow skin, weepy eyes.

Severe Poisonings

Fever, intense thirst, increased rate of breathing, uncontrollable muscle twitches, pinpoint pupils, convulsions, inability to breathe, unconsciousness.

What I saw with this is that the symptoms matched the complaints that I have been reading about Gardasil. Is this a coincidence? I do not know for sure but I find it pretty frightening.

With what I have found presently it became my mission to find the extensive information about the rest of the chemicals in this vaccine.

On to Sodium Chloride, I found this MSDS (material safety data sheet) and it was an interesting read. Here is section 11 called Toxicological Information.

http://www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9927593

Routes of Entry: Inhalation. Ingestion.

Toxicity to Animals:

WARNING: THE LC50 VALUES HEREUNDER ARE ESTIMATED ON THE BASIS OF A 4-HOUR EXPOSURE.

Acute oral toxicity (LD50): 3000 mg/kg [Rat.].

Acute dermal toxicity (LD50): >10000 mg/kg [Rabbit].

Acute toxicity of the dust (LC50): >42000 mg/m3 1 hours [Rat].

Chronic Effects on Humans: MUTAGENIC EFFECTS: Mutagenic for mammalian somatic cells. Mutagenic for bacteria and/or yeast.

Other Toxic Effects on Humans: Slightly hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation.

Special Remarks on Toxicity to Animals: Lowest Published Lethal Dose (LDL) [Man] — Route: Oral; Dose: 1000 mg/kg

Special Remarks on Chronic Effects on Humans:

Causes adverse reproductive effects in humans (fetotoxicity, abortion, ) by intraplacental route.

High intake of sodium chloride, whether from occupational exposure or in the diet, may increase risk of TOXEMIA OF PREGNANCY in susceptible women (Bishop, 1978). Hypertonic sodium chloride solutions have been used to induce abortion in late pregnancy by direct infusion into the uterus (Brown et al, 1972), but this route of administration is not relevant to occupational exposures.

May cause adverse reproductive effects and birth defects in animals, particularly rats and mice (fetotoxicity, abortion, musculoskeletal abnormalities, and maternal effects (effects on ovaries, fallopian tubes) by oral, intraperitoneal, intraplacental, intrauterine, parenteral, and subcutaneous routes. While sodium chloride has been used as a negative control n some reproductive studies, it has also been used as an example that almost any chemical can cause birth defects in experimental animals if studied under the right conditions (Nishimura & Miyamoto, 1969). In experimental animals, sodium chloride has caused delayed effects on newborns, has been fetotoxic, and has caused birth defects and abortions in rats and mice (RTECS, 1997).

May affect genetic material (mutagenic)

Special Remarks on other Toxic Effects on Humans:

Acute Potential Health Effects:

Skin: May cause skin irritation.

Eyes: Causes eye irritation.

Ingestion: Ingestion of large quantities can irritate the stomach (as in overuse of salt tablets) with nausea and vomiting. May affect behavior (muscle spasicity/contraction, somnolence), sense organs, metabolism, and cardiovascular system. Continued exposure may produce dehydration, internal organ congestion, and coma.

Inhalation: Material is irritating to mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract.

This is the MSDS I found on L-histidine.

Histidine

Supplement Forms / Alternate Names

• L-Histidine

Principal Proposed Uses

• • There are no well-documented uses for histidine

Safety Issues

As a necessary nutrient, histidine is believed to be safe. However, maximum safe dosages of histidine have not been determined for young children, pregnant or nursing women, or those with severe liver or kidney disease. As with other supplements taken in large doses, it is important to purchase a quality product, as contaminants present even in very small percentages could conceivably add up and become toxic.

Whoa, this chemical is being injected into the arms of children and it has not had the proper testing to find its maximum safe dosage. How is this possible? How could the FDA allow a product that has not gone through necessary testing? Question to my readers: If you know and can show me proof of the testing please send it to me. I will post it immediately upon review and verification.

Now on to polysorbate 80.
