We are all in danger
By Larry Klayman

This certainly wasn't just "the week that was!" And, don't think that next week or the weeks, months, and years thereafter are going to get any better. My late Italian father-in-law, Guido D'Aniello, who spent his career as the director general of the Italian Ministry of Education, used to say with some dry Roman humor, "Appreciate today, because tomorrow is going to be even worse."

Guido was right, and his prediction was 20 some years ago — before the modern rapid decline of the West and, in particular, the United States and Italy — both of which are not only drowning under a mountain of fatal debt, but also are allies strategically in a world threatened by radical Islamist nations and terrorist groups like Iran and its surrogates throughout the Middle East and the world.

So it was that the unexpected death of Andrew Breitbart this week — not only a fine person but also a valiant warrior against the left — perhaps symbolized our own collective fate. His death caught me by surprise and with shock. I had seen him just that morning in his "bunker like" office in Los Angeles, and he looked not only vibrant but "tan, rested and ready" for the next fight. His tragic and sad death perhaps symbolizes our own fate, if we do not do something quickly to reverse the "road to hell" we now find ourselves on.

And that road to hell is paved with Muslim bad intentions and the religion's mission to defeat and kill all "infidels," particularly Jews and Christians.

The head of this Muslim snake is the Islamic Republic of Iran, run by radical mullahs who see their own death in a nuclear war with the West as the road to their own salvation under Allah. What makes matters even more perilous — notwithstanding the desire of these mullahs to not only obliterate the promised land of Jews and Christians, Israel, but to wipe the United States off of the face of the map as well, with their soon-to-be-manufactured atomic weapons and long-range missiles capable of being delivered to our shores — is the now transparent fact that our own so-called president, Barack Hussein Obama, is in at least his heart also a Muslim. This, more than anything else, explains his near complete disdain, if not hatred, for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the nation of Israel.

So when Obama meets with the prime minister Monday in the White House, this "reunion" is not expected to be a love fest, but, in fact, a war of words between the two leaders over the looming nuclear threat from Iran. Obama, perhaps having been "compromised" by Iran — as was his predecessor, Bill Clinton, with China and the bribes he and Hillary Clinton (perhaps not coincidentally now Obama's secretary of state) took from this communist dictatorship — has allowed the atomic cancer in Iran to spread and metastasize into a full-blown malignancy.

This heated encounter will result from a number of factors, however. Netanyahu and Israel, notwithstanding Obama — who clearly wouldn't order U.S. military forces to join a preemptive Israeli first strike on Iranian nuclear facilities — do not see the United States and the West historically as a reliable ally. The prime minister, in looking back on the Holocaust during World War II — which the mullahs in Tehran have not coincidentally threatened to "conclude" — stated eloquently when addressing the American Israel Public Affairs Conference two years ago:

"Seventy-five years ago, the leading powers in the world put their heads in the sand. Untold millions died in the war that followed. Ultimately, two of history's greatest leaders helped turn the tide. Franklin Delano Roosevelt or Winston Churchill helped save the world. But they were too late to save six million of my own people. The future of the Jewish state can never depend on the good will of even the greatest of men.'

These words ring even more true in today's world. Obama is hardly "the greatest of men"; in fact, he is not only a national disgrace and a threat to our own survival as a nation, but his actions and inaction directly threaten Israel's right to exist and the survival of its people in general.

Whether it is siding with radical Islamic groups like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and other Arab states — resulting in the overthrow of leaders like former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and others friendly to Israel and the West — or taking no real action, save for meaningless so-called economic sanctions to "stop" the Iranian march to nuclear weapons, Obama is no Roosevelt of Churchill! Instead, he is apparently bent on furthering Islamic domination around the world and cutting the United States, with its Judeo-Christian roots, down to size.

And, if you think this is too far a stretch, then study the history of Obama's Kenyan father, who as a proud anti-neocolonialist, socialist, and Muslim despised the United States and the West. Indeed, this scenario — an American president like Obama being so heavily influenced by his father — is why our Founding Fathers wrote into the Constitution, and the Supreme Court has agreed, that an American president must be a "natural born citizen" who is the offspring of two American citizens.

So the Obama problem is not just a Netanyahu-Israeli problem, but our own collective problem. The plain fact is that we have not only a socialist, but even more dangerous, a Muslim sympathizer and traitor in the White House.

And that is why we all are in such peril, not just the state of Israel.
