How to cut down diseased establishment trees

I am a perpetual optimist, even if I sometimes give the impression that much is wrong in our society. Certainly, under the last eight years of our black-Muslim president and his not too latent hatred for whites, Jews, Christians and anyone else who is not like him and his equally racist wife, Michelle, it was hard to be upbeat. Coupled with the real threat that the most corrupt couple ever to occupy the White House would return in 2017 – meaning the Bonnie and Clyde of American politics, Hillary and Bill Clinton – I could see the end of the nation on the horizon. Eight years of Obama and Michelle followed by Hillary and Bill would clearly have been the death knell for the vision of our Founding Fathers.

I confess that my recent columns did not give the voting populace as much credit as it turns out it deserved. The new minority, white middle-class voters, coupled with informed and patriotic blacks and Latinos, rose up and showed Hillary Clinton the door, at least politically, for the time being. While I do believe that Bonnie and Clyde, much like Mrs. and Mr. Darth Vader, will attempt to return to power, using whatever illegal and sleazy means they can muster, and while I will do my best to make sure they stay legally dead and buried, do not expect the evil forces of the left, well financed by billionaire and self-Jew-hater and Nazi collaborator George Soros, to give up. "The Force" will be back, make no mistake about it!

I first took on the Clintons, after a few years of observing their corrupt conduct, in 1994, when I founded Judicial Watch. The first case I filed was against the Clinton Legal Defense Fund, a criminal enterprise designed to funnel Chinese and other illegal money into the Clinton coffers. Later cases followed, ranging from Filegate to Travelgate, to IRSgate, to the big one, Chinagate, and in the course of 10 years before I left Judicial Watch to run for the U.S. Senate in Florida, we had cut the Clintons down to size.

My efforts in founding and running Judicial Watch helped trigger the impeachment of Bill Clinton, even if cynically it did not, thanks to a lack of courage by the Republican establishment, address the most serious crimes of the "First Couple." And, while I did not take the Clintons on to influence elections, our efforts did put a significant chink in the side of Vice President Al Gore, the corrupt stench of the Clinton-Gore administration crippling him from winning the presidency in 2000. While President George W. Bush later proved to be a bungling mess, things could have been a lot worse with a President Gore.

After my Senate campaign, I spent a few years in the wilderness and that is chronicled in my autobiography, "Whores: Why and How I Came to Fight the Establishment!" But I eventually returned to my calling, after Jesus again came to me and told me to soldier on under His divine guidance. I resumed taking on the arrogant and corrupt political, legal and media establishments.

Indeed, even with all the successes at Judicial Watch, in the years that followed, perhaps I was destined to score the biggest victory of my career and perhaps the biggest victory in the history of government litigation. This occurred just after whistleblower Edward Snowden revealed that the National Security Agency (NSA) had been illegally obtaining telephonic and other metadata on hundreds of millions of American citizens, without warrants for probable cause that they were communicating with terrorists or committing crimes. This massive surveillance took on the dimensions of what George Orwell forecast would happen and call "Big Brother" in his famous book "1984."

With my new staff at Freedom Watch, which I had founded after my return to public advocacy, I immediately filed suit against President Obama, the NSA and other intelligence agencies for this gross violation of Fourth Amendment constitutional rights. Prior to the revelations of Snowden, the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), James Clapper, then an Obama stooge, had been asked under oath during a congressional hearing if the NSA was conducting massive surveillance on the citizenry. In response, Clapper testified no, committing clear-cut perjury. Obama, Clapper, the NSA and company were thus engaged in a cover-up of their crimes.

The lawsuit I filed was thus captioned Klayman v. Obama, Clapper and the NSA et al ., and I made myself the lead plaintiff since at that time few others would risk taking on these powerful forces. Later, some of Freedom Watch's clients and friends joined me in the case.

The lawsuit was randomly assigned to one of the few federal judges in the D.C. federal court who had not been appointed by Presidents Obama or Clinton, the Honorable Richard J. Leon, a conservative jurist. Stating that the first status conference that the issues involved were "at the pinnacle of national importance," he moved the case along and later entered over the course of the last three years two preliminary injunction orders requiring the defendants to cease and desist from their unconstitutional conduct, pending appeal by the Obama Justice Department. Beating the ACLU to the punch, which later filed a similar suit, Freedom Watch's case, and Leon's rulings, caused Congress to enact the USA FREEDOM Act, which in theory now prevents the intelligence agencies from continuing to conduct surveillance without probable cause.

During this time period, Freedom Watch and I also came to represent a whistleblower perhaps even more important than Snowden. A prior NSA and CIA contractor, Dennis Montgomery, revealed that the lying Director James Clapper and his ilk had been harvesting financial and other confidential information from thousands of prominent Americans, including the chief justice of the Supreme Court, to use for potential coercion and blackmail. With the aide of federal Judge Royce C. Lamberth, we took Montgomery's story to the general counsel of the FBI under Director James Comey, and got Montgomery immunity to come forward. Montgomery then produced 47 hard drives and over 600 million pages of information allegedly showing this massive crime against the American people. He also provided videotaped testimony to FBI special agents, implicating Clapper and others in felonious conduct. This FBI investigation has been ongoing for going on two years.

With yesterday's dramatic resignation of James Clapper as DNI, it would appear that he was forced out, perhaps as a result of the FBI's Montgomery investigation, and possible pressure by President-elect Trump, who would not want a corrupt Obama loyalist to remain in this post.

With Hillary and Bill Clinton gone politically for the time being, and the intelligence community now free of Clapper, there are positive signs on the horizon. The Second American revolution is now well underway, and the forces of evil are on the run.

The lesson? It just goes goes to show that eventually ethically diseased establishment trees will fall, if you do not give up and just keep chopping at them!
