The phrase that I use these days to explain the sorry and frightening state of the nation's body politic – where leftist radical and establishment interests employ whatever means they feel justify their ends – is "This is the world we live in!"

Whether it's the leftist Muslim and anti-Semitic, anti- Christian and anti-white radicals in Congress such as Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, or even establishment hacks like Representatives Jerold Nadler, Adam Schiff and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, or Senators Chuck Schumer and Mark Warner, the leftist Carter, Clinton and Obama appointees who inhabit the federal bench, or leftist bar associations which seek to retaliate against and destroy lawyers who support President Donald Trump, but ignore ethical abuses by leftist lawyers who aspire to take him down – and of course the leftist social and print media – there is one thing certain: Unless these leftist forces are forcefully opposed head-on, the vision of our Founding Fathers is doomed to cease to exist.

Today, I am writing this column on my laptop from my birthplace in Philadelphia. I'm sitting in a café in front of Independence Hall. There, on July 4, 1776, a free nation was born, one that was to be a nation of laws and not men, in the words of our great Founding Father and second American president John Adams.

Adams was a trial lawyer like yours truly; a man who, against all convention, would represent persons and interests who were not socially or politically accepted in colonial society. One of many examples concerned his successful defense of British troops who were provoked by a band of colonialists on Boston Common, killing some of them. In successfully defending these British troops, and thus being a thorn in the side of the Boston colonial pro-Tory establishment, Adams lost his law practice.

Of course, we know the rest of the story. Adams later took his principled stands to Philadelphia. Just days before signing the Declaration of Independence, he said it does not matter how many times we change our leaders or forms of government; without ethics, morality and religion, there will be no lasting liberty. A quote attributed to John Adams and made famous in the 1969 musical "1776" says: "There is danger from all men. The only maxim of a free government ought to be trust no man living with power to endanger the public liberty. ... I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is a disgrace, that two become a law firm, and that three or more become a congress."

The words of John Adams ring true even more so today. Compared to the tyranny of King George III (his minions in the Court of Saint James, his lackeys in Parliament and his pliant and dishonest press in London), the American left today in Congress, the legal system and its rabidly anti-Trump and anti-traditional values media are far more dangerous to the preservation of our Judeo-Christian heritage, upon which the main principles embodied in our Constitution, due process and equal protection for all men, are enshrined and guaranteed. In short, the Ten Commandments, upon which our Constitution and legal and moral system is based, is being shredded and trashed by the left.

By the use of lying, deceit, fraud and bearing false witness, the left destroys anyone who stands up for freedom and the Judeo-Christian principles upon which American freedom is based. Once this Bolsevik-style mission is accomplished, the left will seek to fashion and construct a socialist and atheist state, devoid of any sense of godly and even arguably ethical and moral virtue.

In the face of this growing threat, our corrupted government (infested by a Deep State that is in cahoots with these leftist forces) sits by as a co-conspirator to the moral and legal decline of the republic. And, so it turns to a few good men and women to oppose the destruction of our great country.

In the words of Thomas Paine in the days leading up to the first American revolution (we are now in a counter-revolution being waged by the left): "There are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of our country; but he that stands it now, deserves the thanks of man and woman."

This call to arms is what must be rekindled today, as the current leftist godless threat is worse than even that faced by Paine and his fellow patriots. This is why the nation owes a great debt of gratitude to patriots like my clients Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Chief Justice Roy Moore, Cliven Bundy and his sons and family, Dr. Jerome Corsi, Dallas Police Sargent Demetrick Pennie, Kiara Robles, Laura Loomer, Laurie Luhn, the families of the fallen special ops heroes of Extortion 17 and Benghazi and a myriad of others too numerous to mention in this column, but which are honored at Freedom Watch USA and my website..

Just this week I was in court before one of the few great and intellectually honest federal judges in the land, the honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The case concerns the attempt to destroy America's toughest sheriff, Joe Arpaio. Not surprisingly, given "the world we live in today," CNN (through its halfwit Yale-educated daddy-Mario-likely-greased-his-acceptance) prime time host Chris Cuomo, at the direction his leftist CEO Jeff Zucker – along with the Huffington Post and Rolling Stone magazine – defamed the sheriff as a "felon." Their objective: By destroying Arpaio for his anti-illegal immigration actions, these leftist media hacks used him as a springboard to tar and feather President Trump for his policies opposing an open border.

Arpaio, a true American patriot and not a summer soldier, then turned to me to sue CNN, Cuomo, Zucker, the Huffington Post and Rolling Stone for defamation. A true patriot does not turn the other cheek and simply hope that the leftist onslaught to destroy our republic will someday cease. He or she, like the sheriff and my other clients, feel compelled to act – peacefully and legally – to right the wrongs and to serve as a check to the current leftist tyranny. Listen to my radio show this week (linked here) which speaks to this.

Good men and women, like my clients, are duty bound under God – as was true of our Founding Fathers – to take forceful action to stem the tide of the leftist tyrannical destruction of our American way of life. Go to Freedom Watch USA and join our Justice League. Enlist in our citizen's army to preserve freedom and liberty "Adams and Paine style."
