God is not a pacifist
It's time to take action for the survival of a free America
By Nanette Malher
Pacifism kills more swiftly than bullets. One of the most blatant examples of the devastating consequences of pacifism is the genocide of six million Jews (and millions of non-Jews) in Nazi Germany prior to and during WWII. German citizens and people of the world sat back in the comfort of their own homes while neighbors were kidnapped from theirs . . . sometimes in hidden silence, sometimes violently and out in the open.
I had an email conversation recently with someone I've known my entire life. He is a man who says he loves God. He is a self-proclaimed pacifist who believes that America has become an "evil" place and that God's will is to destroy it, along with the rest of the world, as punishment. He feels that "the military is sucking the U.S. dry, and capitalism only funnels money to the rich." He also believes that those who attend Tea Parties "are being played for suckers by corporations who feed upon the common people," and the only thing we need to be doing right now is praying.
I have little respect for pacifists, who call themselves such, and then come out swinging with angry creeds that cut like knives. I find it very interesting that pacifists can make hateful, radical arguments with a black-vs-white, cemented conviction and then sit back and pretend they've done nothing destructive. That kind of "doing nothing" is a grand action in itself that leads to grave consequences.
I do agree that we must pray harder than ever in light of America's current economy and status in the world.
Several years ago a dear friend of mine phoned to ask me to pray for someone in a grave situation.
I responded, "Of course, it's the least I can do!"
She replied in ernest, "My dear, praying is the 'most' you can do."
The truth in her statement made an impact on me that will last a lifetime, because it made me more aware of the words I choose when I talk about my belief in the sovereignty of God. I'm not even sure I believed that praying was the "most" powerful action I could take to change a situation before that conversation, but I do now. My words and actions must reflect my belief. If we truly believe in God (because he's . . . GOD) then we must believe that he has the power to do anything, no matter how great or small, if it is His will. However, I also believe that praying is not the "only" thing God wants us to do. The God of ultimate action does not command us to sit back, close our eyes to the truth and pray while His people are being slaughtered (both physically and mentally) in any given situation, whether it be Hitler ordering the death of six million Jews, Saddam Hussein murdering over 500,000 Kurds and citizens of his own nation, politicians lying to the public while stealing taxpayer money, a husband beating his wife, a man robbing a convenience store . . . you get the picture.
Americans, like citizens from all other countries, must endure the heartbreak of watching evil people do evil things in all areas of society from politics to business to personal life. Most Americans understand that because we live on earth, we are forced to deal with the free will of man. God was the One who gave man the will to choose good or evil. Earth will never be Utopia, until God comes to make it so. I agree with my pacifist friend that we do need to pray, because it is the most we can do. But we also need to take immediate action when we see evil masquerading as good. We live in the world where America is the last bastion of freedom. We need to fight the evil that wishes to destroy our nation of light and hope.
America's history is not perfect. We have wronged the American Indian. We have wronged the African American. We have wronged women . . . and the list could go on and on concerning all those who have experienced less than equal treatment. The difficult truth is that ALL people — black, white, red, yellow, brown — have had to endure some kind of injustice or another, because America is filled with people, and people are imperfect.
In light of all of our flaws, I'll take the worst America has to offer over what is called the best of any other nation. Americans take action when they see that others are in trouble, even if that action is ridiculed. We feed the hungry. We take care of the sick. We die for the sake of the freedom of others, along with our own. Today, many call this action — this longing to see all mankind live in safety, good health and freedom — "empire building." Such a statement is a prime example of a lie masquerading as the truth. Our actions and our beliefs have served to save millions of people, over the course of our short history. Many of those we have saved include the very people who now wish to destroy us, because we believe in freedom for every man, woman and child, no matter what they believe.
Today, I'm imagining what will happen if Americans do not wake up and understand that the latest enemy of God and American freedom lives in the White House. Our new and inexperienced president is ripe with hatred under his calm demeanor. He despises the very American principles for which our men and women have died. He is Marxist and a puppet who is taking cues from known and unknown directors of evil. He's not the first emperor with no clothing in America, but he is, by far, the one we should fear the most, because for some unworldly reason, his lies are believed to be divine truths. The press will not question him; too many Americans will not oppose him, even if they do so in their own minds. Americans have become pacifists as they ignore the cold, hard facts concerning the swift actions now being taken by the current administration and all the appointed czars therein to undo what true defenders of the Republic hold dear: The Constitution of the United States.
Too many Americans are under the same evil spell, and we must stand up to them. They believe in concepts that are objectively false, completely opposite to our founding principles, and serve selfish purposes:
The enemy is out in the open and the enemy is hidden. He is ready to implement a "New World Order" and we are letting it happen. Whatever his face, he has broken into our home — America. A new holocaust is about to begin, and so many know it and feel it. The grand director of evil wishes to confuse the difference between what is right and what is wrong — causing strife, even among believers, and ultimately causing the destruction of all Americans' God-given right to be free.
My dear pacifist: When someone breaks into your home and threatens to kill your family, and you have a choice between doing nothing or doing something that might save your children, I pray that you will do something. I shudder to think what our world would be like today if God had done nothing to save His children from evil. He sent His own Son to die for us. Americans send their own children into battle to save humanity from the tyrants of the world.
Some would argue that Jesus himself was a pacifist — He did not strike his enemy as his enemy struck him down. On the contrary! If you believe that God came to earth to live as a man, died for us, and rose from the dead to show us exactly WHO He IS and how much he loves us, then he was NEVER struck down! He dealt the enemy the greatest and most destructive blow in the history of the universe! The enemy is dead already. He just doesn't know it. He still thinks he can win. For those who would argue that God wants us to be pacifists, I argue that God wants us to stand for Him in the Great Battle that is to come, just as he stood for us . . . unto death.
God gave us minds and hearts so that we can discern a truth from a lie and then take action. God has commanded us to love our enemies, but He does not expect us to stand beside them while we say and do nothing, because that kind of action will only help evil destroy America and the world, even if God allows that destruction to begin. All through the Bible, God's people were forced to face their enemies, and with His help, they did. Jesus was the ultimate soldier, taking on our pain and suffering, and even our death, so that we might overcome the evil of eternal life without God and live forever with the Father of all mankind. When I meet my Maker, I do not wish to have blank pages after my name in the Book of Life. I want it to be filled with the actions I took on behalf of the Name above all Names, even if those actions were condemned by the pacifists and non-believers of my day.
There is no Utopia on this earth. No amount of pacifism will create one, or cause it to come into being. God died for us, so my conviction, and my hope, is that while I am fervently praying for the salvation of the world and my country, I will have the strength to fight evil, even in the face of death, for the sake of the One and Only God and the freedom He gave us and wants us to enjoy!
We are at the most crucial time in the history of the world.
Pray . . . and then get up off your knees and take the love and power God has given you and put it into action for the survival of a FREE America.
Call and write to your president, senators, state representatives, governors and legislators when you know that what they are doing is not based on the principles set forth in the Constitution of the United States — the principles that stand for preservation of freedom and justice for all!

Too many Americans are under the same evil spell, and we must stand up to them. They believe in concepts that are objectively false, completely opposite to our founding principles, and serve selfish purposes:
- The Muslim, who cannot live in a world with those who do not believe in his god.
- The right-wing, white supremacist, who does not want to live in a world with those who are not of his color.
- The progressivist, who is bent on destroying American freedom in the name of a false equality.
- The socialist, who believes it is fair to take from those who do to give to those who don't.
- The hater of personal responsibility and individual effort, who feels the world owes him a living and he owes the world nothing.
- The corporate executive, who worships greed.
- The thief, the rapist, the murderer.
- The pacifist, who will say and do nothing.
