Thank you, George Soros!
By Darla Meyers
While I admit I haven't read every single word ever written about the Mark Foley outing, I'm sensing there's a huge hrumpfff!!! being emitted by some Don't-ask-any-questions-about-our-candidates-Republican Party members. For those of us in the Republican Party who have been snubbed by the powers-that-be who think we should compromise our moral values vote and keep our mouths shut, we say, Thank you, George Soros, for outing Democrats in Republican Sheep's Clothing.
For too long, the Republican Party has taken a See-no-evil, Hear-no-evil, Speak-no-evil approach to Republican Party candidates and incumbents who refuse to be (gasp!) Republican. By failing to require accountability of Republican Party candidates, we have deceived the Republican voting base. We have failed to reveal to those Republican Party members that we have given them candidates who are really Democrats in Republican Sheep's Clothing.
Woe to those who actually question the lack of platform/resolution accountability of the Republican Party. Of course, the Democrat Platform/Resolutions are completely devoid of morality, so there's no need to evaluate their member accountability. A simple solution to bringing accountability to the Republican Party is to require the incumbent/candidate to sign the GOP Platform/Resolutions. If the candidate won't sign, Why Not? And if the candidate won't sign, They Shouldn't Be Republicans and go where they belong — to the Democrat side!
In the cases of many Republican Party candidates and incumbents who laugh at the GOP Platform and Resolutions, we have many examples of misbehaved, undisciplined candidates and incumbents. And just as we must discipline our own children, we cannot let the undisciplined Republican Party candidates and incumbents continue to be misbehaved. Most parents know if we don't discipline our children, the real world will. Not disciplining children could be classified as child abuse in some parents' minds. Not disciplining Democrats in Republican Sheep's clothing is abuse of Republican Party members and voters.
As in many other cases, the Texas GOP gets it right. They state in part:
"Protecting Innocent Human Life
Party Candidates and the Platform on Protecting Innocent Human Life — We urge the Republican Party of Texas to support, financially or with in-kind contributions, only those candidates or nominees of this party who support the entire platform on protecting innocent human life. We urge the members of the State Republican Executive Committee to make such changes to the by-laws of that committee to make this action binding on the Republican Party of Texas." And there's a whole lot more where that came from at the Texas GOP web site.
With the public discipline of Mark Foley, there's seems to be a thread of hope for the Republican Party. The outrage exhibited by Foley's sodomy promotion seems to still be repulsive to some Republican Party members. That may come as quite a shock to some Republican Party leaders, but we do still exist. And it may shock the Republican Party leaders to know that there are millions of party members who will never tolerate human embryonic stem cell extermination and experimentation, abortion in any case, euthanasia, sodomite marriage and other assaults against innocent and vulnerable human life and the family unit.
Why would Soros want to out the very people who were undermining the Republican Party? Maybe his arrogance and pride just happened to get in the way of what would have been a brilliant plan to continue to undermine the Republican Party and take control through the Conquer and Divide combat tactic. If it's so bad to be homosexual, why do the "Republicans" quit and the Democrats celebrate their homosexual and pro-abortion members? Why didn't Soros and the Democrat Party embrace the pro-abortion, pro-sodomy Foley and others like him? We might never know, but I want to say, Thank you, George Soros! Maybe the Republican Party will take notice that they've been infiltrated by Democrats in Republican Sheep's clothing, accept responsibility, require accountability, and lead by example — in writing!
