IS the news media REALLY biased?

That question in the headline is so stupid that it would be like asking if The Pope is Catholic. This past Wednesday we got an understanding of the misinformation coming out of the liberal controlled media, when NBC News Anchor Brian Williams, with his back against the wall, had no other choice except to "apologize" for a total misrepresentation of an event in the Iraq War, when he was filmed in a helicopter. He claimed his helicopter came under fire and was hit, putting him in great peril.

And he continued to talk of that heroic trip he took into a war zone to bring us up-to-date news of the happenings in the world. HOWEVER: The pilot who flew that aircraft came forward to testify that his helicopter was not hit, but the helicopter behind them, perhaps a mile or two, was the one that came under fire. The pilot of that helicopter also testified.

For the next ten years Williams told that story again and again on such talk shows as David Letterman which in the process made him a recipient of 'Stolen Valor.' Even so, his "apology" took such a circuitous route that it became only a case of "bungled re-telling" and "forgetting some detail's after so many years," even though that those many years had not elapsed when he began telling that bogus story of his heroic exploits. One thing that stood out: Brian Williams did not just come out and say he lied. "The whole thing was simply", he says, "misinterpreted." Yep.

On the bright side of all of this: If The News Anchor is fired from NBC, which he should be, he will always be able to get a job at McDonalds selling Whoppers. In fact, NBC qualifies to have Golden Arches erected in front of their studios where they are served in abundance.

We can remember when NBC TV staged a truck catching on fire to make a point against an auto maker's unsafe vehicles. It was not filmed on the spot of a real happening. It was faked but presented as real. And they manipulated a taped phone call making George Zimmerman, who was identified as a white man, who shot to death, Trayvon Martin, a black teenager, a racist. Zimmerman is a brown Mexican man. But NBC wanted to make this a black and white racial injustice. Sensationalism sells.

They edited out a specific portion of that phone call he made to the police. In that conversation, it showed Mr. Zimmerman saying that it was a black guy, which, of course, would prove his racism that led to the shooting. That description did not just come out of nowhere. That was an answer to a specific question; "Can you give a description of the man?" It was THEN that Zimmerman stated that is was a black guy, wearing a hoodie, etc. He was set up by NBC with specific editing making Zimmerman say only that, with the question that led to that reference being cut out.

This kind of thing is typical of a Socialist driven agenda.

Who cannot remember Hillary Clinton stating that when she went to Bosnia, snipers tried to kill her and she had to duck for her life? It did not happen. Then there was Geraldo in a war zone when he yelled "GET DOWN!" as gun fire erupted, causing dirt to fly up around him as he dove to the ground. That too was staged. He was never in any danger.

Of course I know from personal experience how the leftist media will corrupt the accounts when a D.A. up for reelection had full newspaper assistance when he sprung a totally fabricated case against me, stating that I was a threat to police officers and, he said, "I will even prosecute a respected minister if he is a threat to the police."

He did not have the backing of the police, brought false charges against me showing how protective of the police he was, and he won the re-election, at my expense. You can see that full story by going to: http://revaustinmiles.com/index.php/more/681

For those who have a hunch the news system is rigged and you cannot put your finger on it, this might help solve the puzzle and show how the White House (where Al Sharpton visited 28 times within this past year), has such a grip on what is reported to the public. Fasten your seat belts:

ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.

CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.

ABC News Correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama's Deputy Press Secretary.

Former ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama's Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood.

CNN Deputy Bureau Chief Virginia Moseley is married to Hillary Clinton's former Deputy Secretary of State Tom Nides.

So now it is no surprise that the media is in Obama's pocket. This may also explain the cover-up of Benghazi. Indeed, every place you look in Obama's administration, people fill positions because of who they know, not WHAT they know or how competent they are. Now we have a glimpse as to why our country has so many problems.

It also gives us reason to not trust the media in any way. They are strictly a propaganda tool to shape our thinking. This is why the Internet, with sites such as this one, are so popular.

Frankly, when I want to find out what is really taking place in the world, especially America, I check in with the European papers, especially the ones in London who have a more honest and accurate account of what is actually taking place in The United States. Sadly Ironic.
