The abortion solution shared
Aversion vs. abortion
By Melanie Mills
"To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven," so goes a verse of Scripture in Ecclesiastes in the Old Testament. And also unto everything there is a reason or a method of reasoning.
What I will divulge may shock some conservative thinkers but in my opinion, to accept the abortion holocaust one second longer would be more repugnant even still.
While I was still in nursing school in 1998, I postulated a theory I kept quietly to myself. The other night this idea popped back up and with the advent of time, technology and the Internet, I decided to investigate if my wild idea was possible. To my relief and amazement, I found my theory had been proven true and was in practice. The theory shows abortion is no longer needed or acceptable. Modern medicine and science now CAN avert this tragic "option."
Follow me down the scientific highway into where impossible meets possible. From this day forward, erase "unwanted pregnancy" and such semantics from your vocabulary because I'm here to tell you they no longer exist.
Since the dawn of man and woman there lurked the question, "Am I pregnant?." Many a woman found herself asking the question and the answer was YES. We all know the woman looked high and low for the answer and the solution, if yes, was not the answer she wanted to hear.
Fast forward 1973. The solution we were told finally was Roe vs. Wade. What the premature leftest ideologues haven't told you lately is they were and are wrong.
Skip to 2006 and think post birth control, move beyond the coat hanger and all that stale rhetoric we've all heard ad nauseum. Start thinking revolutionary thoughts like fetology, advanced physiology, 3 & 4D Ultrasound and ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies).
What is ART? What isn't it? What ART is, basically all the reproductive technologies such as ICSI (cytoplasmic sperm injection, circa early 1990's) IVF (in vitro fertilization, circa 1977) and GIFT (Gamete Intrafallopian Transfer, circa late 1990's). Also under this umbrella falls donor eggs and this is where my wild theory comes in, Donor Embryos or ET (Embryonic Transfer).
Yes, you read it right. Not the flying Spielberg ET kind, we're talking the terrestrial human embryo from one woman to another.
Hear me out. And yes, I am a Christian Conservative Southern Baptist Woman to clear your confusion.
After my abortion in 1998, (the biggest mistake of my life!) I was in nursing school at the time. I had been the type before I had an abortion that I felt it was wrong and I considered myself pro-life I thought, "I'd never do that, but if Suzy Q down the street does it, I won't judge her." Post abortively, that changed. I began to study what I had done and researched abortion obsessively. I thought, we live in a time of medical miracles and we can't solve the ancient dilemma of "Am I pregnant?" I thought this can't be.
As of 3/16/06, I found out my "wild theory" is true and in practice today. Women don't have to abort any longer! It is a choice now, but it's a choice that doesn't have to be made any longer because due to advances in medicine since 1973, we can now prove abortion is an old, outdated medical procedure that needs to be chucked into the trash can where it belongs.
Please research this and see for yourself! If I can theorize and find viable proof abortion is avoidable and now 100% preventable, then of course Planned Parenthood knows this as well, right? Why aren't they converting every abortion clinic into PTC's (Pregnancy Transfer Centers) and thus, truly living out their much whined about philosophy? Why aren't they using their resources for the betterment of mankind by training abortionists who are already qualified practitioners to practice ET instead of the killing they do. Why not take what is evil, and change it for good use. Why don't the so-called pro-choicers really offer a living viable option that doesn't cause an unnecessary death but instead gives choice to other women that seek children?
It makes sense to me. I'll tell you why, bear with me. Like I said, I know this is difficult for hardliner types to swallow but I know what it's like to be a desperate woman too. I had two teen pregnancies, one abortion and one extremely high risk pregnancy at 30 years old. I've been on all sides of this issue back & forth, day after day, night after night, month after month. I've also been poor struggling to get through college, and I have also lived through the nightmare of laying on the abortionists table and trying to live with that 24/7 for 3 years.
Before you say I've gone off the deep end, think all of this through. Better an embryo to adopt a womb than a tomb, right?
Planned Parenthood sells women the notion they have to "plan" their parenthood. OK, when the birth control they sell women fails, then the opt for Plan B or sell the woman an abortion. No other options are presented, don't kid yourselves. Oh, but wait. What I'll tell you (they won't) with that lovely abortion you'll get one of the following or more unpleasant (avoidable) side effects: severe pain, post traumatic stress and post abortion syndrome, severe depression, weight gain, "cutting," increased risk of drug and alcohol abuse and a 9% increased risk of suicide (above women who are non abortive), increased risk of breast cancer later in life, disturbed sleep resulting in development of possible further health problems, possible endometriosis, premature birth and incompetent cervix in subsequent pregnancies with higher morbidity & mortality rates than non abortive women. Immediate risks include infection, hemorrhage, uterine puncture and laceration, intestinal puncture and laceration with possible colostomy and hemorrhage, sepsis, bacteremia, toxic shock syndrome, possible blood transfusion and yes finally even death.
Women are willing to risk all that for a supposedly legal and "safe" abortion? Doesn't sound too safe to me. And no, this is not included on the informed consent or patient rights forms a woman sees and signs before the abortion. This is why I testified for a 24 hour wait in MO known as HB 156 that is now in effect which includes Doctors must do a face to face meeting with a woman before the procedure to inform her of her risks. Oh, you didn't know abortionists routinely never meet the patient until she is up in the stirrups ready to be aborted? Yeah, that's true and most of the time they don't even know the patients name, age, birth date and medical history before they perform this invasive procedure on their patients. I don't call that safe either.
Still believe this "choice" lie? If it's a choice why do they choose to not tell women these risks? Remember the Allen Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood, releases most of the above statistics as well as pro-life organizations so no matter which side of the fence you're on, the data all shows the same thing, abortion is murder on woman & child. They know knowledge is power and they keep certain things from indigent women so they don't know every option like adoption. They also know with true informed consent, women that see the ultrasound of their babies before the procedure don't abort. That of course hurts the bottom line and their bank accounts, and they can't have anybody messing around with that, women's health or not! When a woman learns the truth, she doesn't abort, plain and simple. Then the abortion industry loses money and eventually dries up so it's just better to keep their clients in the dark, literally.
For 33 years the abortion industry has continued to perpetuate the "lie" to women to separate them from their pocketbooks. Why don't truly liberated women wake up and smell the coffee? I have been "educated" as much as these women on the left side of the isle, and I can read between the lines. If they care about women, why aren't they teaching abstinence and teen pregnancy prevention? No, simply America Planned Parenthood's answer as it has been for 33 long, hard, bloody years is not primary prevention and medicine, but tertiary treatment and the "band-aid" method of trying to pick up the pieces of a woman's life. The band-aid stops the bleeding but doesn't heal the scar let me tell you. I found that out the hard way.
Women get desperate but they don't have to resort to the desperate act of killing. If women are so smart, why aren't they educating themselves fully about their bodies and how to avoid pregnancy naturally if that's what they choose to do? If a pregnancy occurs, there is ET as I have illustrated.
Believe me, I am not one for surrogacy organ transplantation and the like, but if we're talking abortion, I'd rather see ET performed than a pre-meditated medical murder. If the medical community insists on playing God, then at least do it responsibly.
Transferring an already burgeoning life is far more humane than killing it. This is 2006 — we aren't neanderthals anymore, right?
In summary, I am happy to share this innovative technology with you. Further research needs to be done, but we may have hit pay dirt here. If we can essentially end abortion through medical means instead of using abortion to end pregnancy, then why aren't we doing it? Think about it. There are many infertile couples waiting in line for a child. If these abortive mothers don't want their embryos, there are 10 couples waiting in the wings to adopt the embryo instead of killing it.
Think of this as the next step in pioneering the modernization & progression of adoption. This also adds scientific and empirical data needed in the political arena to ban abortion as well.
And I'm going to spread the word to my Representatives and Senators how supporting the abortion bans make sense when technology like ET is available and ready to use to eliminate abortion.
For me and many other Americans, the time for abortion to be banned has come and it's not as far out as you think. No more excuses and no more Roe vs. Wade, end of story. The only thing left to do is for conservatives to euthanize Roe vs. Wade, euphemistically speaking, instead of in practice on mankind like we saw what happened to Terri Schiavo.
The abortion solution is in our hands, We just have to implement it next into our minds.
