It will take a McCain miracle to beat the terrorists' candidate
By Bonnie Rogoff
"I saw it on television." That's how Barack Hussein made his leap from obscurity, in a televised "stirring keynote address" at the Democratic National Convention several years ago that appealed to the mindless, many of whom unfortunately have the right to vote. Four years later reality is setting in. Oratory is all he's got but it matters not. Within 48 hours, the American mindless will choose him. By all accounts and evidence, Obama is a terrorist sympathizer, infanticide enthusiast, euthanasia supporter, tax hiker, moral dissident and when it comes to the U.S. Constitution, a threat to America. He's probably not an American citizen but all they talked about last week was Sarah Palin's wardrobe. To the mesmerized, Obama is the man.
"The Man," incidentally, was an entertaining Irving Wallace read back in 1964 about the first black president who ascended to office — not by vote but by a series of impossible events. In the story, the vice president suffers a stroke and the President and Speaker of the House are killed when a German palace collapses and topples on their heads. The protagonist who became president was an untested black senator battling fanatical racism and a bad case of low ego, so he assumed the role of figurehead. In the book, President Douglass Dilman was insecure to the point of self-deprecation and he had his detractors but he was not agenda driven. Unfortunately, Obama is not Dilman and this is not fiction, although what's happening now seems more unreal than the freak accident in the novel.
Those of us who remember the "hanging chad" fiasco of Election 2000 know that the ones left hanging were conservatives. The next eight years unfolded as a series of capitulations by President Bush and incompetent Republican leaders to the Democrats and "moderate" Republicrats, among whom John McCain hovered between, with no clearly defined conservative message to assuage the anxieties of the newly-jilted GOP base. Ironically, McCain has become the unsung hero of the Far Right in 2008, in part because Gov. Sarah Palin is so appealing to us and more so because the Obama/Biden ticket maintains an amoral philosophy that is truly abhorrent and distant from American traditions. If the Republican Party had only stayed true to their principles we wouldn't even be talking about Obama now.
Comparing 2000 to 2008 and its obvious who steals elections. Bush stole nothing. Voters didn't understand the ballots, sought no help and that was their fault. How can that compare to what's happening now? We have an election being fixed in advance. First, it's ACORN committing overt voter fraud in battleground states. When dead people cast ballots, it's always for Democrats. An Ohio judge is allowing unregistered homeless people to use park benches as their permanent address so they can vote hundreds of times over and pull the election for Obama. The judge should be thrown in jail but I don't hear complaints from Obama supporters about the rig job.
I'm convinced many voters don't know or care how dangerous Barack Obama is. Last week, I received an e-mail from a pro-life friend requesting that we petition our representatives to oppose the Freedom of Choice Act, or FOCA. By the way, the number to the Capitol switchboard is: 202-224-3121. Most Americans haven't a clue what the Freedom of Choice Act would accomplish. If FOCA were to become law, it would mandate the most draconian pro-abortion legislation and would undo any rational limits to that "procedure." In essence, abortion would return to the back alley. FOCA is strongly supported by Obama and is under review now. Here is what will happen if FOCA is passed:
Obama may have taught Constitutional law but he abhors its principles. As far as he is permitted by Congress, which could conceivably attain a Democratic super-majority, Obama will use the Courts to enforce a precarious political agenda. The Founding fathers supported the right to bear firearms. Obama passed legislation to ban guns in his state. He will work with Israel's enemies to pressure policy changes that will lead to the division of Jerusalem and takeover by terrorist organizations; the ultimate destruction of Israel. His close association with Rashid Khalidi attests to that fact. As World Net Daily reported, "The Los Angeles Times says it will not release a video it obtained of Sen. Barack Obama attending an anti-Israel event in which he delivered a glowing testimonial for an anti-Israel professor who excuses terrorism." He's surrounded by former terrorist leaders who belong in prison, not in university classrooms.
In the face of Obama's anti-Semitism, liberal Jewish organizations still support this man and remain silent about his terrorist ties. This I find very troubling. They should exert pressure on the Times to release the secret tape so we would know exactly what was spoken and Obama's reaction to it. It's obvious the real cover-up is that Obama either said something derogatory about the Jews or cheered Khalidi on. It is an outrage that terrorists like Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi end up as college professors and remain within Obama's inner circle of associates. Moreover, Al-Qaida groups support Obama and consider a Democrat victory a repudiation of President Bush's policies. What a nice tribute to the 9/11 victims of Islamic terror.
Finally, if Obama won't produce a valid birth certificate the U.S. Supreme Court should step in. After Democrat attorney Philip Berg's lawsuit was dismissed by a federal judge he petitioned the Supreme Court to delay the election. Electing a non-citizen is unconstitutional, unprecedented and a lot worse than the 2000 frenzy that occurred over vote counting.
None of these realities will stop most liberals from voting for Obama. Some polls indicate that support for Obama among liberal Jewish voters is as much as 75%. Many of my friends and relatives are diehard Democrats and have never voted for a GOP candidate, and they are voting for McCain. Polls have tightened, but not by enough and the media has succeeded in talking down the economy to make it worse for Senator McCain. My advice is: If you don't like McCain, sit out the election and "see it on television" like you saw Obama last week. As long as Obama's place is on the boob tube and not the in the Oval Office, America will remain safe.

- FOCA eliminates regulations that protect women from unsafe abortion clinics.
- FOCA forces taxpayers to fund abortions.
- FOCA requires all states to allow 'partial birth' and other late term abortions.
- FOCA subjects women to abortions by non-physicians.
- FOCA violates the conscience rights of nurses, doctors and hospitals.
- FOCA strips parents of their right to be involved in their minor daughter's abortion decision.
