Rev. Miles defended the pledge
By Jen Shroder
Rev. Austin Miles lost a $1 million lawsuit by default to Michael Newdow, the objector of the Pledge containing the words, "under God." Miles wasn?t in the courthouse to defend himself against allegations of libel. He admits he has been purposely difficult to find. So is Steve Emerson. So am I. So is every Christian that has been forced to go "underground" for standing up to the principalities darkening this nation.
After Steve Emerson?s explosive documentary "Jihad in America" aired, a Muslim assassination team was dispatched and he went underground. To expose Islam as Emerson and Miles have is to invite death. A fatwa was issued against Salman Rushdie for insulting the Muslim religion in his work, "The Satanic Verses." Bookstores that sold it were firebombed, riots broke out in areas where it was believed Rushdie was staying and two of the book's translators were stabbed — one fatally — by extremists.
A Dutch woman had to flee because she said Muslim men traditionally oppressed women. Kola Boof received a death fatwa by beheading after writing about the Christian slavery in the Sudan. And who can forget "the journalist" that dared to write Muhammad would consider a beauty queen contestant for a bride? She?s now in seculsion.
"What we are saying is that the Holy Koran has clearly stated that whoever insults the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad, should be killed," said Zamfara State Commissioner for Information, Umar Dangaladima.
Despite the threat of "fatwa," Rev. Austin Miles boldly confronted the indoctrination practices of required prayers to Allah in America?s public schools. In his explosive article, Public Schools Embrace Islam, A Shocker, Miles critiqued the school curriculum and started a national uproar over the required participation in religious practices of Islam in public school. Miles wrote:
"Muhammad is portrayed as an extremely moral man who wanted a society of purity. A vast body of historical accounts will refute this image. Historians will show that he had multiple wives, a sexual problem, and among his wives, he took a 10-year-old girl for his pleasure (some accounts list her age as 6)."
Rev. Miles, age 70, went underground.
No, it has not been easy to find Miles or any Christian willing to take a stand against the assault on our freedom. And now, with the action of this Judge, all Christians who have gone underground have to wonder if there are unknown court dates and defaults against us. Are we to be persecuted by the legal system as well?
America, you have precious few who are willing to face the death threats when we sound the alarm about the assaults on our religious freedom, the assaults against our heritage, the assaults against our children. Now the courts are coming after us as well.
Two days ago, I almost shut down BlessedCause.org. Not because of the court ruling, but because of circumstances I can?t list. It would give an advantage to those perpetrating them if I did. Family members and friends have been clamoring for me to back down. Friends have been offering their homes to me as a refuge. And I am tempted to "just quit."
But I remember, there are some things that are more important than yourself, or your comfort. The Christian families that were thrown to the lions for the entertainment of the Romans knew it. The crowds cheered and their children screamed as parents fought to protect their young. Or how about the sacrifices of our founding fathers? The risks they took, the fortunes they gave, the lives they lost...or how about our brave soldiers today, spilling their blood and fighting for our freedom...but not for our religious freedom. For that has already been taken by the liberal judges who have ruled that children can be required to pray to Allah in public school so we can selectively tolerate other religions (any but Judeo-Christian).
A woman emailed me today. She wrote:
"As a senior citizen, I have no money to spare, but if phone calls or e-mails will help get rid of this insanity, please let me know. Our country has become a battleground of ideologies. A government of, by and for the people no longer exists. If we condemn illegal immigration, we are branded racist. If we feel uncomfortable with the pervasive Muslim influence, we are right-wing extremist. God help me, I would like to see all the mosques banished from this country, just as the Middle East forbids Christian churches in their country. The push for multiculturalism and diversity is ruining this country. We are a nation of divided cultures, traditions and languages. It can come to no good. I regret the nation I leave to my grandchildren...Pray that we get a leader soon that will stand up for our country and say "No more!? Best wishes in your fight, J. V."
That woman is like the woman who tithed her last two cents. She has no hope but God. She regrets the nation she is leaving to her grandchildren. Her heart is broken as is mine, and I am not alone.
So I continue to write. I can only imagine how fast a liberal judge would rule against me if I didn?t show up for a lawsuit that I knew nothing about. I can only imagine how long I would live if those that murdered Daniel Pearl or Nick Berg had a moment alone with me.
It is written in the Koran to kill and terrorize Christians and Jews. To force our children to pray to "Allah" to "understand" the Muslim, or to teach our children to embrace Islam as a peaceful nation, is comparable to teaching Jewish children during the holocaust that the trains will take them to a relaxing retreat, even as the Nazis are pounding at the door or videotaping the beheading of their children. TO KILL US IS IN THE KORAN. The Koran is a book initiating hate crimes against Christians and Jews. Our public schools are promoting hate whether they know it or not, whether they deny it or not, whether they cheer as the Romans did, or not.
To live is Christ, to die is gain. Saints, pray. Pray and do what you can to protect your children.
