The Boy Scouts leadership caves, as expected

The Boy Scouts of America's (BSA) leadership, as many of us who oppose the activist homosexual agenda expected, caved to the pernicious homosexual agenda.

Now, it is time for the core participants in BSA to turn their attention to forming a new organization, separate from the compromised BSA. The BSA will in due time succumb not only to homosexual scout leaders but also to whatever else homosexual activists want done to destroy the organization.

With that transformation will come homosexual assaults and abuses of boys in increased numbers, as is the case with the rise in homosexual assaults in the military. (Elaine Donnelly, President of the Center for Military Readiness reported to WND Radio that in 2012, statistics show a more than 20 percent increase in reported sexual assaults on males in the military.)

It is clear that the Boy Scouts of America's code is anathema to homosexual activists. The question is, why would homosexuals want to be part of such an organization? Why would anybody or group that opposes the tenets of an organization want to participate in that organization? Even if I were solicited, I would have no desire to join the Ku Klux Klan or the American Communist Party, or the NAACP.

The answer to these questions is that the aim of homosexual activism is to pollute. To bring down to its level of amorality and godlessness all groups that strive to uphold morality and godliness. That is the crux of the matter.

John Stemberger of "OnMyHonor.net," a group that fought valiantly against this latest assault of homosexual activism, says that he plans to call a coalition together to discuss creating a new youth organization centered on biblical values. It seems he has support from many religious leaders who favor such a move. Over 70 percent of the 100,000 scouting units are chartered by religious organizations, according to a Liberty Council report by Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman. Some have already indicated that they would withdraw their charter if the Scouts implemented the change in policy.

It may just be that this travesty against the children will be ameliorated to some degree. Maybe even to a large degree. If, as Stemberger expects, the BSA may well lose some 200,000 members and $30 million in funding, that is certainly fodder for growing another truly worthwhile organization, to which decent parents can entrust their boys.

While our rotted culture continues to reek and weaken, those of us who want no part of that rotting must simply continue to fight the forces that perpetrate it. Those forces are loud and moneyed, and they are often intimidating, vicious, vile, and hateful, but they are still a minority of humankind.
