Obama: read Sermon on Mount re homosexual OK
By Grant Swank

In Nelsonville, Ohio, Barack Obama was asked how he could square his support of homosexual duos with his profession of being a Christian.

He answered by telling the questioner to read the Sermon on the Mount. Quite a quip, eh?

The Sermon on the Mount says absolutely nothing relating to homosexual unions. Does Obama know that? Does Obama read the Sermon on the Mount? How long has it been since he read the Sermon on the Mount? Can he state where it is located in the Bible?

All the more reason for biblical Christians to accent the fact that Obama is not a Christian. He is a mockery of the biblical faith.

He endorsees that which is so evidently stated in Scripture as abhorrent to the God of the Bible. God will not tolerate same-gender sex. He calls for those who engage in such to be executed. That is the tolerance the God of the Bible has for homosexual lifestyles acted out.

Note the clarity of Scripture: Leviticus 20:13: "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them."

Yet Obama makes it clear that he finds homosexual duos quite acceptable to himself and evidently to his deity.

Obama cannot have it both ways. He cannot be a Christian and at the same time fly right in the face of the holy writ held to by genuine Christians.

Consequently, biblical believers call Obama on his double-mindedness. That means that he is a fake religionist.

He rewrites the divine revelation, that which is prohibited in the Bible itself. After all, does not God know how to give forth his own revelation without editing from mere mortals? Obviously not as far as Obama is concerned.

Back to the Sermon on the Mount: It is characteristic of religious liberals to make the Sermon on the Mount the all-in-all for endorsing all sorts of evils. If they want to sanction sin they just say, "Well, you know it says in the Sermon on the Mount. . ."

Actually, the Sermon on the Mount is no Pollyanna document. It is rive with warnings. Jesus preached in that Sermon concerning the narrow way leading to heaven with few on it. He said that the broad way is laden with the majority of mortals, the end being hell.

Jesus warned to build one's soul house on the rock; otherwise, the house will cave in when built upon sand. That in itself is a warning to the likes of Obama who have built their religion upon the sand of their own opportunistic imaginations.

Footnote:

Scripture relating that active homosexual relations are abhorrent to God:

Leviticus 18:22: "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."

Leviticus 20:13: "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them."

Romans 1:18-32: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. . .For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools. . .

"Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. . .

"For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire towards one another, men with men committed indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

"God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice. . .without understanding. . . and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them."

I Corinthians 6:9: "Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
