The intolerant Christ

Say "God" and many cheer.
Say "Christ" and you have a war on your hands.
Christ did no one any harm. However, he was not the sweet fellow many biblically illiterate persons make him to be.
Christ said: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Me."
That is the intolerant Christ. There is no way to God the Father but by way of God the Son, Christ.
In other words, the world's gods will not lead to God or heaven.
Further, John 3:16, well-known to scores, states something about "perish." "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not PERISH but have everlasting life."
Note the term "perish." Most evangelists point to the words "everlasting life." That's fine. But in order to understand the positive, one must first get the negative.
There is a "perish" for those who negate Christ as the only way to God the Father. Perish means everlasting damnation. That again is the intolerant Christ.
"One door and only one, and yet its sides are two. I'm on the inside. On which side are you?"
That's a children's chorus we sang in Sunday school. It's deep theology. It's simple biblical truth. There is only ONE door. Christ said: "I am the Door." Christ is the one door..
If one is in Christ, one is inside. If one is not in Christ, one is left outside to perish. That's the intolerant Christ.
Theological liberals preach that many paths lead to God. These false prophets promise heaven to the unrepentant. They promise salvation to the non-Christians.
For instance, this is the theological base of B. Hussein Obama and his United Church of Christ (Congregational), one of the most apostate denominations on the planet.
B. Hussein joins the false prophets of our age by claiming to be a follower of Christ. The biblically literate know that B. Hussein would heed Christ's ethic if a true disciple. But B. Hussein heeds immorality such as sodomy and abortion; therefore, B. Hussein is a deceiver as his denomination deceives every Sunday.
B. Hussein would have America toss out its Judeo-Christian backdrop in favor of all-religions-being-the-same. Therefore, B. Hussein is not of Christ. He is of the spirit of AntiChrist.
John the Baptist's first word in preaching, according to the New Testament, was "Repent." That means confessing one's sins in order to find salvation.
Christ's first word in preaching, according to the New Testament, was "Repeat." That means genuine sorrow for breaking God's laws by confessing those transgressions to Christ, then living the Christ-ethic life.
John and Christ called hearers to repent. They did not preach all-is-okay. We are all on our way to heaven. We all serve the same deity. Never.
If a Christian is truly Christian in any age — particularly in these confused times — that disciple is as intolerant as Christ; otherwise, he's a wimp and needs to repent of his shallow testimony.
If he persists as wimp, he puts his soul in grave eternal danger.
