Thoughts on demonocracy: Lincoln's baby
By Johnny D. Symon

The Spanish holiday season culminated on January 6 with "Three Kings" (Los Reyes) festival. The fun started on December 6th, then the 8th, and on to the 25th, New Year, and finally for all and sundry, mondry, tuesdry, and any other dray that Three Kings happens to fall on. This year the event fell on Saturday night (the 5th) and come Sunday morning gifts were presented. Because Three Kings fell this year on a Sunday, Monday became a day off, Spanish working life therefore began in earnest on the 8th.

But this year began, prior to Three Kings, with the depressing news that on the 1st most household necessities such as water, electric, gas, and most everything else, was about to rise yet again. A butane gas bottle rose by 5.2 percent. This brought the price of butane up to nearly twice what it was when Zappo took office. Line gas rose by more than 4. The Spanish government consistently boast about what they claim to be "an economic miracle," they insist that the economy has never been in better shape, anyone who questions them on this will receive the usual figures behind the "Superávit," (Federal government surplus.)

Now without a doubt this loon regime are out of the red in the financial sense, but only because the Superávit accrues wealth from tax. So if the cost of gasoline rises at the pumps, and respectively electric bills, gas, water, and everyday foodstuffs, Joe Public gets poorer while politicos toast their own success. They fail to mention that, thanks to them, Spain now imports more than it exports, import duty understandably therefore is on the rise also.

I hate federal debt more than most, but the point is this, it's not so important that a government removes itself from debt, what's most important is how they achieve it. If any secular business ripped off Joe Public as the Spanish government are doing they'd most likely go to jail, though then again secular business compared to the political variety are worlds apart, because unlike sane, normal business people, who offer real products and services for their money, politicians offer no more than hot air and lies. And while secular business is overseen and regulated by big government, big government oversees and regulates itself, in theory at least, the practice part happens to be a different story!

That the present Spanish regime have impoverished their people is a well proven fact, or facts, and due to this they recently recommended that conejo (rabbit) would be a good choice to feed the family with over the festive season. They made this recommendation because turkey and chicken prices have risen to luxury levels in the stores, and the average Spaniard can no longer afford them.

Another trick they performed last week was to present a plan on pensions where they're offering an extra 2 percent annually on pensions to anyone stupid enough to work on after retirement age. I say stupid enough because simple arithmetic renders this plan no more than a scam. An honest politician (contradiction in terms?) would offer both the pension and the weekly wage to anyone continuing to work, for what good is an extra 10 percent or so on your pension after five more years, when the ongoing rise in the cost of living cancels it out, and besides, if someone's worked all their life and paid their dues, the pension is legally due them at a specific age. In a private pension scheme there's no question, but government schemes are spelt differently, they're spelt "scams!"

I spoke to an old friend of mine recently, a man of 79 years named José. He mentioned that the Spanish government's recommendation that the poor eat rabbit for Christmas dinner was a very bad joke on people like himself and his wife, adding that those who suffered through the Spanish Civil War knew what poverty was, and as time passed they believed that the lesson had been learned. "Poverty and starvation," he remarked, "was understandable in that period, but why are politicians creating poverty for no purpose? Why do people like ourselves have to suffer during peace time? My wife and I can no longer make it to the end of the month on our pensions and have to rely on a little help from our children."

Any government that resorts to treating old folks in this manner, in my opinion, should expect each and every one of them to have a rope hung round their neck and to swing back and forth for all to enjoy.

Yet another trick the loon regime are performing at present is the introduction of a "Good Citizenship Training" program to replace Religious Education in schools. And while the present system is not compulsory, the Good Citizenship Communist Training Course is, making it break the Spanish Constitution in Article 3, which clearly states that parents have a right to choose the type of education their kids shall receive.

As we dig deeper into 21st century territory I cast my mind back to a situation many months before this century began. Everywhere I looked, in newspapers, TV, radio, and the web, I found all manner of scare tactics surrounding the term "Y2K," Year 2000, and come 12 o'clock, midnight, on the dawning of this New Age, no planes fell from the sky onto my head, trains, buses, cars, bikes, and boats held their steady course. I marveled at the fact that so many important people and institutions could have been so wrong. But as time wore on some planes did indeed soar down from the heavens, and plummeted into important buildings, killing many important human beings in the process, important to me that is, for all innocent life is precious.

This event and subsequent events immediately afterwards and onwards left me with the growing impression that Y2K was in fact a reality, though not in the way it was initially thought or designed to be. Terrorism is a multifaceted tool, and I reckon that those behind Y2K were trying to terrorize the public. Fear makes the fearful withdraw, it stops them looking out at the world and instead they dwell more on their immediate surroundings. 9/11 initially led many Americans to gaze at the grim scenario resulting from that fateful day, and for a spell immediately on and afterwards Americans became of one heart and spirit. The exterior world in general shared America's sorrow also, then time took it's predictable course and unity dissipated, for time heals but time can also dissolve.

Notably most of Palestine failed to share the sorrow America and it's friends bore, they rushed into the streets to party and rejoice, and this year they have greater reason to rejoice than ever for America is about to bestow several hundred million dollars on them, for this year alone, as a bribe to accept Israel as it's neighbor. I regard this as yet another example of the evils and the follies of democracy. This sickness takes no prisoners, and once the disease strikes it produces high fever and powerful hallucinations.

Democracy is a plague that recognizes neither borders or political boundaries, both Left, Right, and Center of a political spectrum are vulnerable to attack. Once a politico contracts this hideous disease there's no way back, and no cure other than death. But there's something else most notable about democracy ... the term, the word, the name, the condition, the disease, the plague, does not appear anywhere in the Bible other than in an evil sense. The term does not appear in the Bible, but King Saul's rejection of God and His Word, and his subsequent madness and death, pay tribute to the term, the disease. l Samuel 15 is one section that exemplifies the disease and should be regarded as democracy's gravestone. With democracy however, death's sole portion infects the host, democracy lives on and is more virulent than aids.

Over the years I've met others who have contested that democracy can be theocracy in action, and to each one I've answered with the same reply; If democracy and theocracy are brothers, then their names must be Cain and Abel. But you know something? Some of the greatest 21st century democracy worshippers who form part of the world's political realm go by the names of Chavez, Castro, Putin, Morales, Ahmadinejad, Musharraf, and Zapatero, meaning that democracy is a popular concept world-wide despite the fact that most of it's leading proponents happen to be enemies of the United States!

But let's not overlook our enemies lurking within the borders of a so-called democratic nation, for if we do we'll miss out on another important lesson outlining the evils of democracy. Dr Alan Keyes has been stonewalled on several occasions as he attempts to stand for the Presidency this year, and while all this has been going on and I've missed the opportunity to write four eds, I've spent some considerable time checking out the European media; Nowhere have I found the name of Alan Keyes. Sure, European TV have displayed lists of candidates, and I even managed to pick out Ron Paul's name once, but as far as Europe is concerned, Alan Keyes has never been born.

I've quizzed numerous people in Europe on their knowledge of the US Presidential race, and most of them speak of Hillary Clinton, Obama, McCain, and one spoke of Richardson, but no one had ever heard of Alan Keyes. Spanish TV broke some news this week concerning a so-called racial issue in the US Presidentials, but it turned out to be "that little skirmish" between Hillary and Barak over the King thing. Nonetheless, my eyes and ears remain peeled, but I kinda feel like I'm lookout on Mars.

Okay, I acknowledge the fact that, like democracy, the term stonewall does not appear in the Bible either, possibly because it was the nickname of my favorite hero, whereas democracy has somehow risen to the status of surrogate god. But in Alan Keyes' case stonewalling has been borrowed by those who worship democracy and used ironically as proof that, unlike God, democracy changes and flexes to suit any particular moment. Those who worship democracy also state that all men are born equal, then when Alan Keyes' particular moment arrives from time to time they get to contradicting that view ... that's genuine democracy in action, the true face of democracy, and the authentic heart of its worshippers.

"What lies behind us, and what lies before us,
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."

    - Ralph Waldo Emerson

In an ed entitled "Rumanian Rumination," February 14, 2005, published on the late, great, AMSiriano.com, I discussed the real possibility that France would reject the EU Constitution by referendum, and subsequently it did, followed a short while later by the Dutch. I then published the ed "Hell-Bent for Gulag," June 13, 2005, and quoted EU Socialist Minister, Josep Borrel, who proclaimed that one way or the other they'd still receive the Constitution, and sure enough a slightly modified wording of it is about to be forced on the unwilling French. Still another example of "democracy in action!"

So where does Alan Keyes stand in "democratic America?" Is he entitled to stand on an equal basis with the other candidates? Was he born as an equal brother to the rest? Does the Constitution and Bill of Rights still hold water? I believe they do, but in Alan's case several have changed their view. In a metasphincteral sense they've flushed them down the toilet.

The Bible states, "Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD." (Jeremiah 17:5)

And this is especially poignant for those who are attempting to thwart Alan Keyes. You see, both Alan Keyes and Ron Paul stand apart from the rest. Ron is heavily libertarian, and Alan pro-border and pro-life. The god democracy transforms it's followers into thieves and liars, tricksters and globalists.

A competition was held a while back and applicants had to submit song lyrics to accompany the lyric-less Spanish National Anthem at the next Olympics. A winner was chosen, and next Monday the great Plácido Domingo had been booked to sing the chosen work. But on Tuesday of this week Alejandro Blanco, President of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE,) announced to the media that the lyrics had been dropped and the concert cancelled. He explained that the sentiments were viewed as politically damaging, and I guess he could be right because the damaging part was simply the section where Spain is regarded as a "proud nation." The present government happen to be globalists.

And there's a funny twist behind globalist thinking because as they set about fragmenting their nations, claiming to give power back to the people and the regions, the real power and control gradually gets handed over to the EU and the UN. Ultimately their aim is to convert the world's nations into a One World Federal State ... a Huge Big Brother Federal Government, whereas, for example, the American Civil War was fought on a genuine "power to the people" standpoint, well, in the Confederacy at least. Suffice to say, I've never been a fan of Lincoln.

President G W Bush is a globalist and a democrat, and something else; he rarely recognizes borders, for the Land of Israel was bestowed on the Hebrew people to be their permanent possession, it's borders were clearly and accurately defined in the Bible, as was the legal purchase of the Cave of Machpelah, the burial site of Abraham and Sarah, etc. which today lies below a world-famous mosque.

Democracy steals, democracy lies, and democracy does not recognize God's Will. Instead it curries favor with those the Bible condemned to death, and attempts to bestow a part of God's Gift on a nation that is no nation, and a people that is no people.

Israel's Ariel Sharon recently passed his second year in a vegetative state. His brain hemorrhage occurred in December 2005. The previous August 22nd I published yet another ed on AMSiriano.com entitled, "Israel: Right Off the Map!" and it contained the following:

"'And if we look to the condition of individuals
what a proud spectacle does it exhibit!
On whom has oppression fallen in any quarter
of our Union? Who has been deprived of any right
    of person or property?
(People of 11 Confederate States perhaps? JDS)
Who restrained from offering his vows
in the mode which he prefers to the
    Divine Author of his being?'

    — James Monroe, First Inaugural Address, Tuesday, March 4, 1817

Sharon ordered the disarming of his own people, dating their removal for the end of the Fast of Ab. This consists of nine days of semi-fasting (no meat or wine) and the final day is the full thing. It's a time of mourning for the loss of both Temples, but for Sharon a time for the most evil and heartless act of his career so far, for he personally lost the thing that lay between his own temples, though his temples remained! Small wonder Netanyahu resigned over it."

*****

Several months later Ariel Sharon "lost the thing that lay between his own temples," and so does he remain two years on. His act was not only undemocratic in the secular political sense, it was also above all an act of rebellion; the misappropriation of private, God-bestowed, land.

Suffice to say, this ed is no supporter in any way, shape, or form, of democracy, or more appropriately "demonocracy," because I vehemently reject anything that contradicts scripture and that denies my Creator Who created the world I live in His right to bestow a part of His creation on a part of humankind. I also therefore vehemently reject and oppose all who deny Alan Keyes his inalienable right to stand and speak on his own behalf before America in the Presidential race.

This kind of hellish trickery persuades me all the more that a form of Y2K permeates the Beast of Demonocracy. Is "freedom just another word for nothing left to lose?" or is freedom just another word that demoncrats abuse?

Americans deserve a right to sort out the wheat from the chaff.
