Israel: right off the map!

Last week a thought entered my head, and try as I might I just couldn't get it to leave. It dominated my mind and had me thinking that the subject matter might make a best seller if it were to become a novel:
It's sometime in the future (but not much!) ... A new President is sworn in to lead the United States for the next four to eight years. Now, this guy is about as liberal as one can get, and pretty soon into his first month in office, he sets about the task of "returning choice historic parts of the U.S. mainland to the native Americans." A large chunk of Boston (the best part) is earmarked and a date is set for the "colonists" of that neighborhood to be out of their homes, and out of the territory. Indianapolis is next on the list, and evacuation orders are posted. Evacuation mind you, not eviction! But to ensure the success of his brainchild, he must first disarm the victims.
His next move is to set the removal date to coincide with the last night of Lent. Why Lent, you may ask? The answer is simple. When you fast you become weak in body and mind, so even if you still had a gun it would be mighty difficult to fix on the target. The President knew that his victims would be at their most helpless come the day they were removed. And his idea, though original in American history, was old hat according to the Bible, since King Saul thought it up thousands of years earlier to help the enemy kill off his own troops. Here's how it happened:
"And the men of Israel were distressed that day: for Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth any food until evening, that I may be avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted any food. And all they of the land came to a wood; and there was honey upon the ground."
1 Samuel 14:24, 25
Prior to this command, Saul's army had been cleaning out the Philistines but not as well as they should have, due to lack of food. When you're hungry and lack energy, one of the best things to kick your system back into action fast is honey. But Saul, who was fast losing his sanity, was already on the enemy's payroll. Jonathan, his son, was the only person to ignore his command, and was rejuvenated. Had the rest of the army followed suit the Middle East would be a different place today.
So while we're now on the subject of the Middle East let's consider some striking similarities between King Saul and my future American President. Both Saul and the U.S. President were working against the interests of their own people. Saul was trying to limit the casualties on the enemy's side to the detriment of his own troops and the President was weakening a segment of his own nation in order to steal land and property to hand them to others. To all intents and purposes, these are acts of treason, but the similarity does not end there, for they both shared the same mental and spiritual ailment, otherwise known as common nut-hood. Both were indeed nuts, though thankfully not all of their subjects shared the same condition.
"I shall need, too, the favor of that Being in whose hands we are, who led our fathers, as Israel of old, from their native land and planted them in a country flowing with all the necessaries and comforts of life; who has covered our infancy with His providence and our riper years with His wisdom and power, and to whose goodness I ask you to join in supplications with me that He will so enlighten the minds of your servants, guide their councils, and prosper their measures that whatsoever they do shall result in your good, and shall secure to you the peace, friendship, and approbation of all nations."
Thomas Jefferson, Second Inaugural Address, Monday, March 14, 1805
"And if we look to the condition of individuals what a proud spectacle does it exhibit! On whom has oppression fallen in any quarter of our Union? Who has been deprived of any right of person or property? Who restrained from offering his vows in the mode which he prefers to the Divine Author of his being?"
James Monroe, First Inaugural Address, Tuesday, March 4, 1817
Sharon ordered the disarming of his own people, dating their removal for the end of the Fast of Ab. This consists of nine days of semi-fasting (no meat or wine) and the final day is the full thing. It's a time of mourning for the loss of both Temples, but for Sharon a time for the most evil and heartless act of his career so far, for he personally lost the thing that lay between his own temples, though his temples remained! Small wonder Netanyahu resigned over it.
Shortly before, and during, the "evacuation" of Israelis from their own God-given Land, Hamas made consistent vows to take into their possession all of Israel, including Jerusalem. Abu Mazen did not contradict them, for historically he's a bigger roach than they are, and sadly he's the type of critter the Bush Administration is making deals with, against the Biblical promise made to the Hebrew people, as the promise clearly lays out ownership of the disputed lands to the Israeli people (Numbers 34:2-12). No amount of "peace" negotiations will lead to a peaceful resolution only blood will ensue, and that's a Biblical promise.
"Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood."
Jeremiah 48:10
But the events taking place against innocent Israelis have an ironic, even portentous, edge to them when you realize that though Israelis are being evicted from their own God-given Lands and can show the title deeds by simply opening God's Word, Americans do not have their title deeds written into the Bible. That's why Americans should take careful note of events in the Middle East, and watch out for my imagined future President and his big land and property relocation plan. I don't think that my novel idea is as novel as it at first appeared.

Now, for those of you who, like me, grew up with the tunes of Les Paul and Mary Ford, we all know how high the moon is, but something of age-old dispute is how bright it is. Scientifically there's no mystery and no dispute, but it seems to be a problem for the common man. For an example of what's available check out ...
"The° over-estimation of the moon's illuminating power is not to be forgotten. According to Helmholtz the power of the full moon is not more than that of a candle twelve feet away. And how much people claim to have seen by moonlight! Dr. Vincent says that a man may be recognized during the first quarter at from two to six meters, at full moon at from seven to ten meters, and at the brightest full moon, an intimate may be recognized at from fifteen to sixteen meters. This is approximately correct and indicates how much moonlight is over-estimated."
Excerpt from Gross's Kriminal Psychologie
So "by the light of the silvery moon" is a pliable and personal experience. But how about an account of the moon shining as bright as the noonday sun? Ever experienced that before? Or the sun shining seven times brighter than usual? Nope, thought not. So why is it written here? ...
"Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound."
Isaiah 30:26
Well the reason why none of us have seen this before is because it is a future event. The process of change in the Middle East will carry on despite the worst efforts of spirit-dumb politicos. Their efforts are nothing more than spittin' in the wind; whereas the true wind of change in that region carries with it the strong scent of blood, and the dark clouds hang low and foreboding. But with every cloud there's a silver lining, and this one's no different, even if it's a dark cloud, so huge the silver part is almost impossible to pick out.
So from a knowledge of the Bible and Higher Things I predict peace in the Middle East ... but it's a long way off, and before it happens I foresee the unemployment line in the Middle East disappearing. Most of that number will be drafted and die, the rest will be gainfully employed, scouring the land and the mountains for dead bodies, where they will place posts to tell the collectors where there's another pickup. That's another Biblical promise, by the way, and something we've never seen happen before.
For the true people of Israel, recent events simply state the obvious, and for every challenge they fight back and win. But for Americans the eviction, by order of government, of legitimate land and home owners, should be of greater concern to you because, as mentioned earlier, their proof of ownership is the Bible itself. How safe, therefore, is your own personal property, should an unscrupulous leader rear his ugly head some time in the near future?
If I were to meet up with G.W., I'd have one thing to ask, and it concerns his part in the Middle East process: I'd say, "Hey, George, when you speak with the guys in the Arab League next time, could you ask them for one favor in order to prove that they really do want to negotiate peace with Israel? Ask them this: 'Hey guys, if you really do mean what you say, put Israel on the map! Because in all of your countries your maps don't have it it's replaced by "Philistia," and it's bad news, for if you can't stand Israel existing on paper then how can it exist at all? How can you negotiate peace with a nation whose existence is denied, even on TV weather maps?'"
Now that's all I'd require of G.W. As far as I am aware, he hasn't asked that favor yet, which to me is one of the most important plumb tests I know of in this situation, but my hunch is he would have a long wait for the answer.
"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
1 Thessalonians 5:3
