Paradox lost?
By Johnny D. Symon

For most, summer equates with sun, sand, sea, mountain, lakes, and songs sung and tales told around the campfire. However, none of this is part of my life. As summer bakes down my workload rises and proves like a bread roll. And as my workload increases, recent plans and projects have had to be shelved.

I'd begun to construct my own type of comic strip, and characters had started to form. I'd embarked on a book project, yet this also fell foul of a busy summer. And since I became known for producing my own graphic images in my eds, I found myself producing more for others than for myself. And I reckon that there's a clear message behind it all, for undoubtedly when someone puts their creative nose against life's abrasive grindstone, more work and more sparks shall issue forth.

Ah, yes, I suspect this week's thoughts to be quickly heading into the magic sparks concept; the spark of life, the spark of creation and creativity, and especially the spark that leads one to press one's snozzle against that abrasive wheel. Cicero once remarked ...

"Be sure that it is not you that is mortal, but only your body. For the man whom your outward form reveals is not yourself; the spirit is the true self, not that physical figure which can be pointed out by your finger."

Therefore, to live according to and by way of our inner spirit, our true self, should be everyone's main goal in life, but somehow the world's majority get confused between "living for oneself," and "living by one's true spirit," that spark seated within oneself. There's a difference also between being "true to oneself," and "true to your spirit."

Cicero recognized that humanity was manufactured from two parts, the body and the soul, whereas both the Old and New Testaments recognized three; body, soul, and spirit, though this is a subject I lay aside for a future ed since it would lead me to deviate from my allotted thoughts for the week. But put into simple terms, a physical body would be no use without a soul, and the hebrew word for soul is "nefesh" (breath life,) that's what makes every living thing tick. Nefesh is another thing some folks get confused over. Some regard breath life as the spirit of God within us, whereas in truth this spirit is clearly defined from the hebrew as "ruach."

Terri Schindler consisted of all three parts; body, soul and spirit. She breathed on her own behalf, while God's spirit breathed within her, and her death was as a result of the forceful removal of her right to breathe on her own, by removing the accouterments most necessary to feed her nefesh; her breath life. Strangling or garroting would have been a quicker and less costly exercise, however, this would not have proved to be as popular as starving and dehydrating. But there's a paradox behind Terri's unlawful death, and here it is:

Since the Bible insists that the penalty for murder should be death, and in spite of this we've witnessed recent attacks against death by lethal injection for convicted killers, with the excuse that it may cause suffering, surely we can put an end to convicted killers by utilizing the "Terri Schindler method." All we'd have to do is lock them up in a cell, then forget about them for a few weeks. President G W Bush thought it was a good idea in Terri's case, as did his brother Jeb, so why don't we adopt the "Terri Schindler penalty" for all convicted murderers? That's the paradox, and this is where people of true spirit and people of evil spirit collide.

I used the following verse of Proverbs 29:2 in "The toxic waste of world politics," and it's equally relevant here ...

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice:
but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."

Yes sir, on the day of Terri's murder, both lock, stock, and barrel of Renew America, mourned like hell. But it's a kind of compound mourning thing, because more and more layers have been added on to the original sin.

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher's "What Happened To Justice In America" ably highlights yet another reason to mourn at the hands of the Ruling Wicked, because Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean are behind bars while the bad guy goes free. But it's worse still because US Attorney Johnny Sutton is yet to be tried and convicted. But you know something? I've got the ideal sentence for him, and it ain't the Terri Schindler penalty, so he can rest easy. If I had my way this is what would happen. I'd sentence Sutton to 5 years as a Border Patrol Agent and release Ignacio and Jose, then assign them as new US Attorneys for a period of 5 years, after which time we'd assess both elements as a sunset clause. The questions would arise such as "Have we missed Sutton over the past 5 years or not?" And I know the answer already.

But the problem I'd be faced with is what to do with Ignacio and Jose, because I know for sure that they'd make the finest US Attorneys in history, so to remove them would only please the stinkin' Wicked that beareth Rule, and we all know who they are, right? If they fit Proverbs 29:2 as a negative, they're it. They're the guys who rightfully criticize China on their human rights record, while conveniently forgetting that they have removed the Fourth Amendment with H.R. 6304. Okay, I say removed, when in fact it can only be removed if the Senate approves the Bill. But if it's approved, you'll find that not only suspected terrorists' communications are scrutinized, but even your very own private thoughts to Aunt Maud. And if you happen to be an inventor, you might well kiss goodbye to your latest idea, if your letter not only gets read in transit, but also finds itself on a detour. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness are on the way out, and what replaces it is clearly outlined in Daniel's End of Days and the Apocalypse, and the first link in the chain was the removal of the Death Penalty for murder.

I have a close friend who's a relatively famous anthropologist, and on and off during the past few years we've held deep discussions on human behavior and the law. My friend has lived with a famous African Tribe for several decades, or parts of them, and what she told me about them made me sit up and concentrate all the more. She reminded me of what Goethe said in Faust,

"A good man in his darkest aberration,
Of the right path is conscious still."

For you see, my friend's little African Tribe had never seen or read a Bible, yet they knew and practiced what we ourselves call The Commandments. And in many ways this little tribe had turned the tables on our so-called "enlightened" Western civilization. They proved by their application of God's Laws that we were the savages, and they were highly civilized. As time rolls on this remarkable truth grows. Western political leaders, while professing to believe in God's Laws, have shed their Maker and headed out to search for and follow "Pastors new!"

Archbishop Caņizares of Toledo, Spain, (though erstwhile he was Archbishop of Granada,) spoke out against Spain's dark and evil leadership two weeks ago. His main concern appeared to be directed at the New Communist Good Citizenship Training Program enacted by a government that was voted in by, and on behalf of, terrorists and terrorism. He said that Spain was controlled both by things dark, and things unseen/behind the scenes. And the big picture bears him out. This week's doubling of Aids Aid for the world from Spain is priced at 10.2 million, while the Spanish economy, businesses, and people are experiencing the worst economic conditions in history.

Though worse still is last week's release from prison of a 25 times murderer named, de Juana Chaos. The government's bought and paid for media stated that this terrorist murderer had served 21 years of his 3000 odd year sentence, and as bad as that figure was, it wasn't bad enough, for the truth is that part of that 21 years was actually a further 3 for publishing his intentions of murdering a few more people, this time in the judiciary.

When he was originally sentenced to more than 3000 years, the judge made a recommendation that he serve no less than 40 years behind bars, and I reckon de Juana would still be inside if the Partido Popular were still in office, but with a government bereft of spirit and moral fiber, and with the help of their friends, dark and out of view, this terrorist murderer felt free to write a letter on his day of release, extolling the virtues of terrorism and murder, which was read on that very day, by ETA' political arm in the town of San Sebastian.

And this brings us to face yet another paradox and come to terms with it, for the truth is that de Juana should not have been alive after he was originally sentenced, and because he was unlawfully spared that Biblical command, he spent 21 years orchestrating and manipulating both government and the judiciary.

Do not pollute the land ... Numbers 35:33

"Do not pollute the land in which you live;
it is blood that pollutes the land. When blood
is shed in the land, it cannot be atoned for
except through the blood of the person who
shed it."

The above verse is for me one of the Bible's most profound, because what it states is that a nation becomes polluted in the moral and spiritual sense, and indeed later on in the judicial realm, through the withholding of atonement for murder. If murderers are spared in the land, that land or nation is heading for steep decline, then oblivion, deservedly so, and that's why the people mourn.

What a sorry state we're all in now, when even a remote African Tribe observes God's Laws and we, through our leaders, observe Satan's. Evil good, and good evil, and atonement withheld. This all comes with a high price tag, one we've already begun to pay.

But some of us are aware of where our money should go, along with our true spirit, and I've spent some of it on this here ed, for as I said at the start, summer for me is no vacation, and much has needs be taken a back seat. But I'm a realist, and I know when to accept that I can only do so much, yet with all the things I wanted to do yet couldn't, there's one thing I intended to do and I'm now glad that I had no time to spare. It was a book I'd planned to read, written by A Bastard ... Algernon Bastard that is ... entitled "The Gourmets Guide to Europe." I did speed read the thing, to be truthful, and it wasn't half bad, but the fact is it's contents are not as entertaining as the name of the author.
