Every thinking reasonable person accepts the fact that one of the worst atrocities in history was committed by Adolph Hitler and his henchmen. The cold blooded murder of approx. 13 million men, women and children certainly deserves an ignominious epitath in the annals of history.
But what will history say about taking the lives of over 40 million innocent unborn and partially born children? My heart weeps just to consider that this could happen and is happening every day in this so-called land of liberty. The first and primary purpose of government is to protect life. Our government is failing miserably on many life saving levels, the most important of which is permitting infanticide and genocide to take place with impunity on a daily basis.
This past Monday Michigan U.S. District Court Judge Denise Page Hood unconscienably ruled that Michigan's law against partial birth abortion is unconstitutional. I am outraged and all America should be outraged. My heart sinks into profound sorrow just contemplating that such an evil judgement could be tolerated in this land of the free and the home of the brave. This is a mostly cowardly and evil decision by Judge Hood.
Where are We the People in all this? Have we become so complacent and lazy that we will sit on our couches eating popcorn and watching some meaningless survival show when our sweet, innocent babies are being literally slaughtered by ongoing partial birth abortions.
I am absolutely beside myself. Those of us who really care need to get angry. We need to channel that anger into constructive activities which will really make a difference. If you haven't already done so join Americans for Constitutional Truths www.act-usa.org or some other truly pro-life action group where you can participate in activities which make a difference.
Let's organize a group to travel to Washington, D.C. and meet with our representatives and senators and politically twist their arms until they break if we have to.
