Dear Friend of RenewAmerica,

We at RenewAmerica want to wish you and your loved ones a Christ-centered Christmas and a joyous New Year!

As we reflect on Him who took upon Himself flesh (John 1:14) and “became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him” (Heb. 5:9 KJV), who was . . .
wounded for our transgressions, . . . bruised for our iniquities, . . . and with [whose] stripes we are healed . . . ; [on whom] the Lord hath laid . . . the iniquity of us all . . . (Isaiah 53:5-6 KJV) . . .
. . . let us give thanks to God for the gift of His Son—as well as for the freedoms and opportunities He has given us as citizens of this great land.

Let us also remember—as we contemplate the future of our nation in these troubling times—that our nation’s future is ultimately in the hands of God, and therefore the fervent, unceasing prayers of God-fearing Americans will have more power to spare our country than anything else we could name, provided it be God’s will, as reflected in these lines from the third verse of the National Anthem:
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation! . . . And this be our motto:  In God is our trust!  (emphasis added)
In addition to constant pleadings to God for His mercy on our nation, let us band together in true unity of the faith and do everything He inspires us to do, individually and collectively, to reclaim our country from ungodly, destructive “change” that is about to befall our nation.

That includes committing ourselves completely to the will of God, setting an example of true faith and righteousness, and encouraging all other patriotic Americans to do likewise.  (See “What can I do to help preserve America?”)

One thing you might consider doing at the outset of this New Year is to sign the Pledge for America’s Revival—posted at RenewAmerica’s grassroots organizing website, AmericasRevival.com—and join with us in encouraging other God-fearing, patriotic Americans to work together in building a nonpartisan coalition for taking back our country.

Whether you choose to do this or not, let’s all join together in fervently appealing to God to intervene and “preserve us a nation!”  For—
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  (James 5:16 KJV)
May we all share in the promises of faithful reliance on the Power of God.

Keep faith, and God bless,

The Christmas season is like no other time of the year. In spite of the freezing weather people have to contend with, most folks reveal a certain happy sparkle in their eyes. Maybe it's because the season brings with it optimism about the future. For those within the Christian faith, there is an understanding that there is more to come. We hold fast and trust in God's faithful promise of the "blessed assurance" (John 10:28).

Yes, it's true that Christians especially have reason to feel merrier. This is the season that points to the First Advent of the Savior's entrance into the universe that He created. And with confidence and anticipation, we await the Savior's Second Advent, known to many as the Second Coming of Christ.

The message of Christ has had a positive impact on the entire world. Christ willingly became like us so that we may one day experience the glories of heaven with Him . . . [Click for more]
