Dear Friends of RenewAmerica,

As you probably know, many citizens across the U.S. are organizing “Boston Tea Parties” and are taking to the streets to protest the “stimulus package” recently passed by the Obama administration.  The Tea Party idea began with a challenge by Obama critic Rick Santelli—an analyst for CNBC, speaking on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade—to have a Chicago Tea Party this summer.  A clip can be found on YouTube titled CNBC's Rick Santelli's Chicago Tea Party, or you can visit the Official Chicago Tea Party website.

As a result of Mr. Santelli’s challenge, at least 27 such Tea Parties were held on February 27 in various cities all over the U.S.  Additional Tea Parties have been held this month, and there are more to come later in the month and beyond.  On April 15, a huge Silent Majority No More Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party is planned.  More information about this can be found here.

So that RenewAmerica can help inform people and spread the word about the Tea Parties, we’ve posted this information on the calendar at America’s Revival—RenewAmerica's citizen action center—and at the state activism section of the America's Revival Discussion Board, where you can find out what’s going on in your state, under the main topics section.  To find the calendar, just click on “Discussion” on the main page.  You’ll then see a tan tool bar at the Discussion Board containing the link to the calendar.

If you haven’t already signed up at the AmericasRevival.com Discussion Board and become involved in spreading the word about your state’s activities, now’s a good time to do so—whether it be Tea Parties or other events that would be helpful for people to know about.  Go to www.americasrevival.com/forum/ for more information.  Get involved in organizing your state!

Also, RenewAmerica.us / AmericasRevival.com now has a group at Facebook.  Come join the growing network of patriotic Americans there—and get involved in sharing ideas, information, and support.  After you join the Facebook RenewAmerica.us group, you can post your thoughts at the group’s discussion board on how to take back America.  You can also write comments on the “Wall”—or you can post links to informative websites and upload videos.

Be sure to tell others about the Tea Parties and our Facebook group, and don’t forget to ask them to sign the “Pledge for America’s Revival.”
