The sanctions will take effect Monday and cover Iran's shipping, financial and energy sectors. NBC NEW YORK — Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday after allegedly assaulting a man in the West Village. Law enforcement sources told News 4 the dispute was over a parking spot. WASHINGTON TIMES — CNN anchor Don Lemon declared Tuesday night that the biggest terror threat the country faces today is "white men" and that something needs to be done about them. Mr. Lemon made the comments while speaking to fellow anchor Chris Cuomo about last week's killing of two black men at a Kentucky supermarket in an apparent hate crime. It came just days before Saturday's mass shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue and amid a rash of pipe bombs mailed to more that a dozen high-profile Democrats. NPR — Marijuana, it seems, is not a performance-enhancing drug. That is, at least, not among young people, and not when the activity is learning. A study published Tuesday in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry finds that when adolescents stop using marijuana -- even for just one week -- their verbal learning and memory improve.
