NATIONAL REVIEW — Since the moment former CIA counterterrorism officer and House GOP staffer Evan McMullin jumped into the presidential race, he's been ignored, mocked, and dismissed. Few pollsters even bother to list him as an option in their surveys of the race. He's nowhere near the 15 percent threshold to qualify for the debates. CNN hosted prime-time candidate forums for Gary Johnson and Jill Stein and their running mates, but not for McMullin and his running mate, Mindy Finn.... (more)

Margaret Thatcher successfully turned the country around by cutting social welfare programs, reducing trade union power and privatizing several industries.... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID — One of the advantages of having a smart TV is that you can bypass the dumb cable channels, particularly CNN. A smart TV gives you direct access to YouTube channels like Right Side Broadcasting, which covers the Donald J. Trump rallies without commercial interference and endless commentary from liberal talking heads. The crowd at the rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Monday night broke into cries of "CNN Sucks" when the candidate referred to the channel's disgraceful coverage of the campaign.... (more)

DAVID FRENCH — Way back in March, my colleague Jonah Goldberg offered the perfect description of the way Trump's endorsers become corrupted: It's the invasion of the body snatchers. They've been taken over by a hostile organism. Sure, they look the same, but, in Jonah's words, "They're different, somehow. They talk funny. They don't care about the same things they used to."...
