Boy that cried Wolf: Or the Handwriting on the Wall?

"In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote." (Daniel 5: 5)

Nations rise and fall and while some last longer than others, America will not go on forever, as it seems. Rome enjoyed over 500 years while ancient Babylon slightly over 100 years. Each respective kingdom fell in its own curious way.

Babylon fell to the overwhelming flood of Persian invaders, but then the mighty Persians were defeated by the rather minuscule device known as the Greek Phalanx. Roman armies trained so well that one Roman soldier could defeat up to 12 armed men, which meant the end of the Grecian Empire.

Modern states and nations have come and gone, some to more powerful armies, others because of political ideologies that failed and many because of selfish megalomaniacal leaders who led their nations to destruction on the wings of their own whims and errors. What about America?

We can liken America to many failed nations, but one of the best examples from the ancient world is Babylon. Specifically, America is like the Chaldeans of old who under the rule of a wicked king, known as Belshazzar, the son of the nobler Nebuchadnezzar they fell due to a slide into everything prurient and immoral.

Babylon became a slop bucket for everything filthy, carnal and perverted. In a final move against God they decided to reach out and touch (offend) what was holy – both God's people and God's sanctified things.

The answer has always been in the Bible and many good preachers, writers and journalists have given both good elucidation and fair warning on the subject. One writer featured on Godfather Politics, Dave Jolly has offered such a piece and it is well titled "White House Celebrates Lifestyle of Abomination."

Mr. Jolly barrels into his article with this, "On Thursday, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden once again demonstrated how unbiblical and perverted our government has become, by hosting their annual LGBT celebration. The celebration and speech by Obama reminded me of the pagan rituals described in the Bible, as they reveled in their sinful lifestyles that God described as an abomination."

He quotes a fair portion of Romans chapter one to make the point that all homosexual pursuits are considered a perversion and an abomination in the sight of God. In case you are unfamiliar with the full meaning of the word 'abomination' as it pertains to God and the bible, it is a sin that makes God sick to disgust.

Our President thinks that we are reaching a 'turning point' says Jolly, but actually it is the point of no return. It is that final stage before a nation goes into direct conflict with God. No nation in the history of this world has ever survived this conflict without a full repentance. Why should America be any different?

Obama recently signed a proclamation making June the month for the celebration of the gay lifestyle. We have finally come to the place where a modern leader has decided to use his power and our government to promote evil. This is what is known as the 'handwriting on the wall'

In Daniel's prophecy the term used to describe the handwriting was, 'MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN,' it is the pronouncement of a summary judgment against the Babylonian kingdom, in fact; it (the kingdom) ended that very day. The term means that God weighed (scrutinized) Babylon and it was found wanting and beyond redemption – quite simply, it was beyond saving. (Daniel Chapter 5)

The kingdom was defeated and divided to the Medes and the Persians. We are already undergoing a great division under the only president in history to earn the title of 'the great divider.'

The battle rages between good and evil, perverted and moral, right and left and conservative and liberal – all under the auspices of Barack Obama whose promise of 'change' was swallowed hook, line and sinker by an electorate that somehow forgot to ask him what his definition of change actually was! The division is already here so – what is left?

Here is what's left. Go and find a place from which to make a last stand. I am not talking about a hole in the mountains along with some well provisioned prepper group. You must take a position and fight the good fight from where you are right now. Faith is the fight. (1John 5: 4)

Nothing says more about finding a place to make a last stand than a blogger who remarked to Dave Jolly's article with this, "What a terrible time in history is this damnable early 21st century. We re-learn that – as has always been the case – our future is truly in God's hands. On a dark positive note, the righteous that die fighting the forces of tyranny and evil will be spared a life of slavery serving Satan's minions, and will still receive God's eternal reward. If I could locate that metaphorical "Alamo" or "Thermopylae," I would begin my journey today, but it's not going to be that simple."

Any criticism leveled against Barack Obama is proof to his supporters that the critic is racist, unable to see Obama's greatness or is just plain grumpy. There is one outstanding error that both liberals and conservatives make when purveying the dismal record of Barack Obama in almost every aspect of his presidential effort.

He is a failure at the economy, foreign policy, security at home and bi-partisanship but none of those failures will bring the judgment of God to a nation. Being a bad president is not the end of the world.

It is only in the moral standing of a nation that God promises to intervene. The immorality of this president in the promulgation of everything gay is his only single success. It is also the only success that the bible clearly says will force a nation into the balancing scales of an almighty God.

We are being weighed at this very moment in time. God forbid that God's perfect scrutiny ends with the dreaded pronouncement that will permanently dismiss the pompous presidential pronouncement of LGBT month and every effort to mis-lead this nation to its own demise.

The wording may be slightly different but the meaning is just the same.

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN

"Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting." (Da 5: 27)

Every eschatologist, prophecy preacher and purveyor of the times has come to a consensus across a wide sampling of the best voices of the day. Not one could be charged with crying wolf. This is the very day of the handwriting on the wall for America.
