He came to save that which is lost
A.J. Castellitto
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. .....Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian. And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath"
- Luke 4
American Christians are in a tough spot! We are to love the world('s inhabitants) as we feel a duty to protect the nation that allows us to.
I hear much concern about saving the planet, embracing illegals, tolerating riots and pardoning the lawless; but I would like to see more global action and outrage against ISIS. Their barbaric purge of the Christian sojourner is nothing short of a modern day Holocaust.
Is it me or has the whole world gone mad?
The proud haughty hypocrite and the hardened Jesus-hater must come to understand history and truth!
Blind sinners: Know your condition, see the madness, seek wisdom, turn from your evil ways, repent! Forsake a token form of arbitrary tolerance for the vital faith, hope and love that saves! Come to know the Lord and share true peace and goodwill.
May this be the year, the day, the hour, that our faith is truly realized!
"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us"
- 1 John 4
