There are some books that should remain unpublished. "Abortion is Everything" is one of them.
This sickening book was written to promote baby killing to children between the ages of 5 and 8. The co-authors are Amelia Bonow and Rachel Kessler. On their SYA page, abortion is described as a "superpower." Amelia Bonow is co-founder of #ShoutYourAbortion. Rachel Kessler is listed as an instructor on the faculty page at Seattle University's Cornish College of the Arts.
Here is an excerpt from their book:
"All living things reproduce which means to have babies or make more of themselves.
Plants & animals reproduce when their babies or seedlings have a strong chance of survival.
When the sun is bright
There's lots of food
safe from predators around that might eat them
...when there is a high chance for their babies to survive, grow & make babies of their own."
On the opposite page is a drawing of a tiger and her baby cub. Both are alive. Plants and animals do not commit abortions. Only people do that.
Only people throw their living children into the fires in honor of the false god Molech.
Animals protect their young. When a kitten dies, the mother cat may instinctively lick her young to try to bring it back to life. If a kitten is lost, the mother cat will meow and search for her kitten, calling out to it for a response. Some cats will even adopt an orphaned or abandoned kitten if its mother dies.
Amelia Bonow and Rachel Kessler are marketing baby killing to young, impressionable children by indoctrinating them with dangerous propaganda that promotes death over life. The most effective way to ensure that deranged ideas take root and grow in our culture is to start with the young and brainwash the children.
In the so-called "gay rights" movement, you can hear them chanting, "We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children." Isn't that exactly what they did when grown men who dressed in garish women's makeup and attire were welcomed into public schools and libraries for "drag queen" story hours? Isn't that what terrorists do when they inculcate their children to become suicide bombers?
"Abortion is Everything" co-author Rachel Kessler is Jewish. As a Jewish woman, I find it appalling to see a woman of my faith sanction the murder of preborn children. Nothing in the Jewish religion or Jewish texts supports or encourages women to kill their children for any reason, let alone empowerment. The biblical imperative is to protect human life.
Cecily Routman, President of the Jewish Pro-Life Foundation, wrote the following:
"The publication of this book is a depraved distortion of Devarim (Deuteronomy) 6:4-9. where we have the admonition to teach our children to love, respect, and obey Almighty God. It is another grave assault on Judaism, God and Torah and a direct threat to the future of the Jewish people, as stated in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 11:13-23."
Ms. Routman further states:
"Ms. Kessler erects monuments to her Jewish immigrant ancestors in her home town. Yet, she fails to see that she can honor them because she was born. What if her grandmother had killed her on the way to a self actualized nightmare?"
Perhaps the most devastating consequence of abortion is that the woman is not just killing her own child; she is also destroying all successors to that specific lineage.
Ms. Routman's full article can be read on her blog.
Abortion does not empower women in any way. On the contrary, post-abortive women often experience ongoing regret for years. A new study from Quebec, Canada, shows that women suffer serious psychological harm following induced abortion compared to women who complete their pregnancies.
At a time when the U.S. birthrate is at an historic low and our population is declining, the last thing anyone should do is promote killing more people.
For Jewish women and men who are experiencing emotional distress after a previous abortion experience, the Tikvat Rachel Healing program has been very helpful to previous attendees.
