The destruction of America, Part Two

America, the land of liberty, is disintegrating before our very eyes. We are being destroyed from without and within. So what can we do about it? Moreover, do we even want to fix the problem?

While many Americans understand we are in serious trouble, far too many others are oblivious or simply don't care. Apathy and complacency have caused us to let down our defenses allowing the enemy to destroy our freedom. We have regrettably and naively believed we have a Constitution and the Rule of Law to protect us, so we need not worry about little things like freedom. Furthermore, we elect people to attend to matters of running the nation, while believing these folks actually have our best interests at heart. Wrong, wrong, wrong!

The writings of our Founding Fathers warned us to be vigilant in protecting our nation against tyranny. Thomas Paine said, "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it." And Daniel Webster commented, "Hold on, my friends, to the Constitution and to the Republic for which it stands... Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world."

Dear fellow Americans, far too many of us haven't undergone the fatigue of supporting our nation, nor have we held on to our Constitution and our founding principles. We have simply acquiesced to the gradual transformation and undermining of our Constitution. We let the Federal Government take prayer and the Bible from the schools, buying into the lie that maybe there should be a "separation of church and state." Those that know this is a bogus argument, not supported by the Constitution, however, didn't do their utmost best to stop this action. To my brothers and sisters in the Christian community, I ask, how's that working out for you? Now we can't openly pray in the name of Jesus. As for public religious displays like the Nativity scene or Ten Commandments, forget about it. Even the president doesn't want to have religious objects like the Cross visible when he speaks at Christian institutions.

These examples represent the beginnings of laws that have been passed to strip Americans of their religious liberties. And we should remember that when writing the Bill of Rights, our Founding Fathers put the "free exercise of religion" and "freedom of speech" in the very first amendment.

So yes, we know that America is being destroyed. In part one of this series, we discussed a major source of our problems: Psychological Warfare. Much of these articles are based on information from the late Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB defector, whose job for the Soviets was propaganda and mind control. A main part of his teaching concerned the takeover of societies through cultural and ideological subversion. The strategy is what he called "non-traditional Marxist psychological warfare" with a goal to "change the perception of reality." This happens in four stages, which are:

1.) Demoralization

2.) Destabilization

3.) Crisis

4.) Normalization

In the last article we discussed the first stage, demoralization, which attacks religion, education, culture, and media. The devastation to our society is profound. The dumbing down and re-educating of America has been happening for over 60 years, or at least three generations. The first stage concentrated on changing outlook, ideology, and personality, in turn causing a change in the perception of reality. This change is meant to be so severe that Americans can no longer perceive the dangers of totalitarianism. The Marxist/Leninist end goal is a nation of people who are unable to assess true information – people who can no longer think or reason. According to Bezmenov, this stage was completed decades ago, and the Soviets consider it successful.

Now that religion, family, and education – critical foundations within our society – have already been decimated, we will discuss stage two, destabilization. During this stage that takes from two to five years to accomplish, the goal is destroying all relations, organizations, and institutions: Government, media, law and order, social relations, security, internal policies, and labor. Destruction within government and media, which have become intertwined, started during the demoralization stage.

Prior to stage one, socialist recruits were first identified and targeted. In his KGB Psychological Warfare and Subversion Strategies lectures, Bezmenov said that such recruits "must be people who can influence mass public perception." These include politicians, editors, journalists, actors, preachers, educators, professors of political science, and representatives from business circles. Bezmenov added that the best candidates are people who "lack moral principles or suffer from self-importance." He explained that this group of people is easily persuaded, easily brainwashed.

The 1950's is when many of our government and media representatives were "turned" into individual propaganda weapons. Journalists used to be granted one-year visas to the Soviet Union to learn the wonders of citizenship there. Bezmenov said that from plane landings to plane departures, the job of he and his comrades was to keep visitors inebriated, and feed them with nothing but lies, propaganda, and staged events that would make them sympathizers, socialists, or outright communists. So once these folks were deceived and brainwashed, they were instrumental in bringing about the demoralization of America through the spreading of the lies.

There are countless government destabilization strategies, with the end goal of centralized communist government. Main areas targeted are the economy, defense systems, and foreign relations. Domestically Bezmenov said that the goal is to weaken our home defenses in the areas of security services, police, and military. In the sixties we began to see the attack against police and military. Whereas both these groups were always seen as heroes and helpers, they began to be seen as the enemy. Hippies and other revolutionaries called them "pigs," and tried to discredit them. Mostly because of America's participation in Viet Nam, veterans from that war were treated very badly. And yet, astoundingly, people who perpetuated lies about Viet Nam, like Radical Leftist John Kerry, have been rewarded with lifetime public service. But then, think back to those targeted for aiding in the subversion of America: people who lack moral principles or suffer from self-importance. But many of those who were injured, physically or mentally, still can't get the help they need from our government. And there are those who have fought in subsequent, more palatable wars and conflicts who also can't get the help they need. And today the entertainment industry, and sadly much of the mainstream "news" industry depicts police and military as evil, and criminals as good.

Bezmenov said that another method in weakening our defense involves discrediting national leaders and politicians. This can be done through accusations and subsequent investigations of wrong-doings. Just the accusation is enough to destroy someone's career and life. Once one journalist grabs a story, it will be repeated ad nauseum, whether truth or lie, until it is accepted as truth. Another ploy is to distract Americans so they won't be focused on the most serious issues. Let's concentrate on immigration reform instead of our national debt or the abomination called Obamacare.

And speaking of the national debt, collapsing a nation's economy is a major factor in the destruction of our nation. Our national debt is over $17 trillion. As I watched the U.S. Debt Clock one day last week, I found that our debt grows over a million dollars a minute. Economists say we will never be able to pay off that debt. Additionally, in just a few weeks the issue of raising the debt ceiling will be discussed in Congress. As usual, spineless government officials will cave to the call of the President to raise the limit, yet again. All the while, they refuse to take serious action to cut entitlements. And they will do it to gain the favor of Obama, whose main goal since taking office has been to undermine, discredit, and weaken America. Imagine if your credit card company kept raising your credit limit, and you continued to spend while never paying off your balance. Will you ever get the debt paid?

In the area of social life and relations, Bezmenov said that the goal is to take away peoples' initiative and responsibility "from naturally established links between individuals, groups of individuals, and society at large, and replace them with artificially, bureaucratically-controlled bodies." Instead of social life and friendships with neighbors, the goal is for people to become dependent on agencies for their needs. Big daddy government.

Furthermore, there must be a radicalization of human relations. Everything is about the government. Bezmenov explains socialist destroyers aim to pit everyone against everyone else – including parents and children, teachers and students, employers and employees, blacks and whites. The goal is to create antagonism where people will need outside mediators to settle even the smallest disagreements that we used to settle quietly and peacefully. Proof of this is seen daily on TV with the numerous live courtroom shows. And sadly, racial unrest is part of the plan for our destruction, as is "class warfare." (We will further discuss these two subjects in a future article.) And media pits itself against society at large, while fueling the fires of antagonism.

As we can see, the intended destruction of our nation has been well orchestrated. And this is just an overview of what I have learned. There are two more stages in the process of subverting America that will be discussed in the next part of this series. Until then, we have a lot of "food for thought." And we really must ponder these things – our nation is on the verge of collapse. God alone knows if there is time to save ourselves. Although Yuri Bezmenov has shown us how our demise began, and the process, he explained that ultimately, the damage will be done "by Americans to Americans by a lack of moral standards." Founding Father William Penn said, "Those people who will not be governed by God will be ruled by tyrants." Much of America has turned its collective back on God and trusted men instead. In the process, we have lost our "moral compass" as well. So now we are living in what Mark Levin calls a "soft tyranny." Hopefully we will come to our senses and seek God's forgiveness and mercy before America ceases to exist. What say you, America? To anyone willing to hear....
