America experienced another jihadi attack by a so-called "lone wolf" Muslim (how many lone wolves does it take before you start calling it a "pack?"). A Somali refugee, Abdul Razak Ali Artan, has been identified as the man who drove his car into a crowd of people and stabbed as many of them as he could before this bad man with a knife was stopped by a good guy with a gun.

Artan complained about the lack of Muslim prayer rooms on campus, and apparently decided he would let everybody know what happens to people who don't show proper deference to the religion of peace.

In an interview published this fall in the campus newspaper, The Lantern, Artan said this about his early experience on the OSU campus (emphasis mine):

"I wanted to pray in the open, but I was kind of scared with everything going on in the media. I'm a Muslim, it's not what the media portrays me to be. If people look at me, a Muslim praying, I don't know what they're going to think, what's going to happen. But I don't blame them. It's the media that put that picture in their heads, so they're just going to have it, and it – it's going to make them feel uncomfortable."

In other words, if I get it into my head at some point to imitate the jihadi in Nice, France, and drive a vehicle into a crowd of people, it's not my fault, or Islam's fault, it's the media's fault for presenting Islam as a potentially dangerous religion. Well, we no longer have to wonder what to think about Abdul, or even about Islam. It is a dangerous ideology which threatens national security and public peace.

Three minutes before he jumped in his car (registered to "Mohamed Ali") and started his crusade against the infidel, he posted this on Facebook:

"I can't take it anymore. America! Stop interfering with other countries, especially the Muslim Ummah. We are not weak. We are not weak, remember that... If you want us Muslims to stop carrying lone wolf attacks, then make peace. We will not let you sleep unless you give peace to the Muslims."

This is tolerance, Muslim style: "Coexist – or else."

At some point, we need to start believing Muslims when they tell us what they want to do to us.

Artan cited Anwar Al-Awlaki as his hero, the al-Qaeda preacher whose messages on behalf of Islam have been connected to numerous terror attacks in recent years.

Thanks to the mindless immigration policy of our current president, who is apparently intent on turning America into a safe space for wannabe jihadis from anywhere in the world, America now has 43,000 Somali refugees living in its midst.

Are all Somali refugees, or even most of them, intent on terrorist actions? Of course not. That's not the problem. The problem is identifying the Somalis we have to worry about from the ones we don't. Until we can, we must be careful with them all.

(Artan, by the way, illustrates the danger of the entire DREAMER mentality when it comes to illegal alien children, the mentality that such policies are harmless because, after all, they're only children. Artan came to the U.S. as a refugee before he was a teenager. The problem is that refugee children don't stay children forever. They can grow up to become murderous thugs.)

How many of these Somalian refugees have been vetted for terrorist inclinations? That would be zero. As in zip, zilch, nada. Just as is the case with Syrian refugees, there is no way to do any sort of a background checks on immigrants from Somalia. There is simply no criminal data base to consult. We couldn't vet them even if we wanted to.

Well, Mr. Trump, a nation turns its eyes to you. Three days before the election, at a campaign stop in Minnesota not long after another Somali refugee had gone on a knifing spree at a shopping mall in St. Cloud, you said this:

"Here in Minnesota you have seen firsthand the problems caused with faulty refugee vetting, with large numbers of Somali refugees coming into your state, without your knowledge, without your support or approval."

Mr. Trump, you promised us you would suspend Islamic immigration until we can "figure out what the h*** is going on," and Muslim refugees could be properly vetted before being admitted to our shores.

We elected you because of this promise. We hired you to do something about this problem. Yet, as I write these words, except for commending first responders, you have been silent about this Islamic terror attack on innocent Americans at Ohio State. We are waiting to hear from you as our president-elect about exactly what you intend to do to prevent the next jihadi attack. Don't make us wait any longer.

A poll released just this morning indicates that a majority of the American people expect you to keep your word about clamping down on unvetted Islamic immigration. All of us who voted for you are expecting you to do what you said you would do. Well?
