Corsi and I fought Mueller – and we won!
Larry Klayman outlines next step: leftist Dems in Congress

Last Friday as I was about to board a plane, the news broke that Special Counsel Robert Mueller issued his long-awaited report. In so doing, it also leaked that the Special Counsel did not intend to bring any indictments. This was good news for my client, Dr. Jerome Corsi, who had refused to take a sweetheart plea deal if he would testify against the president.

After doing so, Jerry – a longtime friend and colleague (and, according to the leftist media, a proud "co-conspiracy theorist" along with yours truly) – asked me to defend him in the Mueller probe. Today, I have to say the announcement by the Special Counsel was a sweet reward to my many years in the legal trenches, and among the most satisfying of my 42-year career as a trial lawyer. I am so happy for Jerry, his wife and their entire family.

Sure, in the last few years I was able to twice enjoin Obama's deep-state intelligence agencies from mass illegal and unconstitutional surveillance and, along with 25 states' attorneys general, kill an Obama illegal executive order on amnesty for over five million illegal aliens. I helped free Cliven Bundy and their sons in the political prosecution before a hostile Obama/Harry Reid-appointed judge in federal court in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However this victory for Jerry and his family, as was true with the Bundys, touched me personally. It was a matter of "life or death," for if Jerry had been indicted and convicted, this would have in effect been a life sentence, as Jerry is now 72 years old. The same held true for Cliven and his family.

Of course, neither Cliven nor Jerry was guilty of anything; but in our compromised and broken legal system, this does not guarantee vindication. A putative or an actual criminal defendant is only as secure from indictment and conviction as the expertise and dedication of his legal counsel. To be successful, that counsel – based on his experience about the way things work in practice and not in textbooks – must be "street smart" and take calculated risks to fight the established and politically corrupted norms that today pervade the nation's courtrooms. In the words of Batman to his sidekick Robin: "It's ten of them against two of us! Odds slightly in our favor Robin!" And, indeed in his planned and now-derailed indictment of Jerry, Special Counsel Robert Mueller was more akin to the Joker than a neutral and unbiased prosecutor.

In Jerry's case, he and I understood the best defense was a good and aggressive offense. In so doing, we filed criminal and civil complaints against Mueller, and put him on the defense. This established respect; and indeed, from that point forward the Special Counsel did behave respectfully toward us.

I had also been recommending this same strategy for the last two years for President Trump; but regrettably his "television-centric" lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Jay Seculow, did not heed my advice. As a result, the agony for both The Donald and his family continued on, and so too did the pain and harm inflicted on our body politic and nation as a whole.

On the other side of the proverbial coin, a case study on how not to comport oneself is Roger Stone. Jerry's former InfoWars associate found himself indicted by Mueller for lying under oath – otherwise known as perjury – as well as witness tampering and obstruction of justice in threatening to kill a material witness and his service dog in the Mueller probe, Randy Credico. Credico is named as Person 2 in the Mueller indictment of Stone, and Corsi is named as Person 1. Neither was accused of any wrongdoing in the Mueller indictment of Stone.

Because Jerry Corsi did not lie under oath when questioned by Mueller – and thanks to the combined legal efforts of my co-counsel David Gray and me, as well as Jerry's own brave and forceful actions in standing down the Special Counsel based on principle and his belief in God – he prevailed and justice won out!

However we still face the "witch hunts" of the rabid Democrats in the House of Representatives, led by the likes of Representative Jerold Nadler of New York, the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Representative Adam Schiff of West Hollywood, California, the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Jerry and his family thus continue to need your support. You can to contribute to his on-going legal defense by sending a check payable:

But for the time being, I am so pleased and proud that Jerry and his family stood firm against government tyranny! We fought the "law" and we won!

It is also divine justice that, after Dr. Corsi and I having been viciously defamed by Roger Stone (who was attempting to coerce and threaten my client into testifying falsely to exonerate him before Mueller's grand jury, Congress and now his criminal prosecution) that it is Jerry who now no longer faces the prospect of what in practice would be incarceration for the rest of his life if had he been indicted and then convicted.

To the contrary, Jerry has never verbally attacked Stone or offered to testify against him, but will testify truthfully if subpoenaed by the Special Counsel as Person 1 in the November trial of Stone.

Ironically, Stone – who as part of his defamatory campaign against Jerry and me falsely stated on InfoWars (which has been sued along with Stone himself for their compliant smears) – that with Klayman as "Jerry Corsi's lawyer, Corsi may get the electric chair," is now the one who faces life imprisonment if he is convicted for his alleged perjury, witness tampering and obstruction of justice.
